Another essential to every fire kit. This fire starter knows how to throw mad sparks!! Scraper works great for both striking and scraping off any tinder. In combination with the Tindår wick there’s no room for failing at achieving fire!

I’ve only had the pleasure of using it once, but I love it so far. Durable, lightweight & heats evenly. Fire ban where I was backpacking, so I had to use the gas stove, which can be finicky with a stove this size. No factor with this stove: had water boiling in absolutely no time & it’s so light the weight was a non issue. Love the weatherproof bag it comes in, the steam vents & the adjustable handle. Great all around kettle. Can’t wait to test it over a real fire.

Putting together my EDC/very bad day kit (very bad days make the best stories). I decided on a ferro rod fire starter. I had never used one before and I'm surprised at how well it works! So easy ! I went with a traditional one and a necklace. Because 2 is one and 1 is none. Great gear fast shipping. Thank you!

Took my 8 year old on his first out of state camping trip. We went to the Black Hills of South Dakota. The Ferro rod worked properly and my son thought it was awesome. A little witches hair and those sparks caught on perfectly. My son is finding he likes camping and being outdoors and seeing that girls (ie, Mom) can be just as self sufficient in the wilderness. I never remember a lighter and although I have matches, I have had the match container crushed before so the Ferro is definitely a must ...

Was looking for an alternative to petroleum/alcohol fuel based stove and this stove far exceeds my expectations! Boiled 2l of water in around 10min! Far more stable than alcohol/petroleum stoves, packs down to about the size of a few birthday cards. Super efficient, super pack ability. All the way around an excellent stove!

I love my new fire starter . It’s without a doubt the best one I ever owned. It’s a well-made tool anyone who spends a lot of time in the woods should have in There pack.

I purchased the Überleben Stöker Flatpack Stove five years ago and my son and I have used it a minimum of once a week, every week since then! It's gone on long camping trips, river camp adventures, overnight wilderness trips and short jaunts into the local woods for a quick breakfast and coffee and it performs perfectly each and every time! So simple to assembl and even easier to use, it boils a pot of water in under five minutes! Cleanup is simple, just wipe with a rag after disassembly and p...

This is at the top of Mary’s Peak, a blistering cold wind blowing so we decided to stay in the car for our hot chocolate. The Kuksa is amazing! I use it for so many things; tea, hot chocolate, water at home. The only thing I wish is that the handle had more rounded edges. The handle on mine is a bit squared so it’s not the most ergonomic. But I might sand it down later and shape it more to my own grip ^_^

Love this gear! Simple to use, elemental in design and function. It all speaks to my love of natural, organic things that fit in the outdoors. And they pack well! I am truly happy to have these in my backpack and use them, often to the surprise of friends on the trail.

Ordered a pair for my lover and I, as part of our new morning coffee ritual, that developed as a result of the pandemic. She loves them. Cheers to all sentient Beings!

By far the best fire starter I have ever had. Will never recommend or buy another brand again. The shower of sparks is truly impressive and will be helpful in difficult conditions.

AWESOME! I love this Kuksa so mush I’ve used in at camp and at home. Fills great in the hand and just fills right to drink out off. I’d recommend going with the 12 oz if your a coffee drinker but if your just the occasional drinker or maybe one cup in the morning then he 8 oz will do the trick. Great craftsmanship 👍🏼

Great pot, a aesthetically pleasing to the eye, ergonomically correct, and solidly built. Look forward to many years of forest morning coffees and teas. Used it last month for some stealth camping in the mountains of Taiwan (it was Thursday, the campground is only open on the weekends) and it worked great. Along with the Stoker stove a great set.

Great fire starter & great customer service. Fire starter throws sparks like a champ. Was sent the wrong fire starter; contacted customer service & then sent the correct order very quickly. They also let me keep the item they had first sent. Highly recommend these products.

Purchased several of these to give as gifts to my friends who’ve survived this year from hell. I’ve been using mine for my weekend Kaffeost routine. Love the warmth & color of the wood.

Works great for boiling water for food and drink. Large capacity for both at the same time. Handle keeps hand away from hot steam. Comes apart nicely for more storage in my pack.

I started with the 3/8” round because a friend was making me a sheath with a 3/8” loop. I really like that one so I purchased a short and long hexa. I have the shorty as a gift and tested the long one today to start the fire in my stick stove. It worked great. I prefer the long one, but if weight is a concern you can always get the short version.

I have used the tindar wick and hexa fire starter for the last month building the daily fire. A little practice makes your efficiency better, fire on the first or second strike. Replacing the fire starters in my day pack and in my sons emergency kit in an Alaskan bush plane.

Very nice ferro rod. Love the edges for getting good sparks. Not too hard and not too soft overall. Makes excellent sparks. Easy for my young daughter to use as well. Highly recommend!

Wanted to have a fire in the mountains before the snow got to deep to get up there. Broke in the new rod, after getting through the coating, it throws an impressive spark that dances around. It got my tinder going and as I was blowing it into a flame I noticed it had my standby kindling pile smoldering as well! Looks as great as it works.

Showers of sparks, solid in the handle so far, but you DO need to learn how to prep your tinder if you are out in the wild. Spend some time learning, you certainly don't have to lean into it like I was doing initially...

I love this little kettle. Can use it with a fire stove or over my regular stove top at home. Feels very solid and looks amazing. The waxed canvas little bag is a plus. Would definitively buy it again and it would make a great gift for someone you care about.

Really pleased with it so far. The pour spout provides great control, which is great for things like brewing coffee. I'd love it even more if the handle could be folded or stowed without completely removing it.

The Hexa is for sure one of the best fire starters I've ever used. The effort it takes to produce a vast spark is miniscule thanks to it's flat surfaces. To see this item paired with other goodies in a nice sturdy container is a real treat!

I’ll start at the end and work backwards. The waxed canvas bag kept the packed stove from getting other items in the pack dirty. Big plus. I was concerned the stove wouldn’t cool down quickly, delaying the break of camp in the morning. Not so. Cooled down quickly for stowing. The unit assembles and breaks down easily. Packs thin, another plus. When choosing to go fuel-less, the 9 oz titanium version I have is a fair trade in weight and function. Less hassle as well. Outside of using in a no burn...

Granted, it’s more of a conversational piece of man bling, but it does work well. I tried it right away and got a nice fire going in the second strike. I have attached mine to my bronze Mjolnir, as it avoids my wearing 2 separate things at once, and would also protect my shirt from the pointy part. I like the weight, I think it looks neat, and that’s enough for me. I did shorten it somewhat, as it was too long for me. I usually carry at least 150 ‘ of survivorcord anyways, so a few inches make...

Each of us got a Zunden Fatty Fire Starter in our stocking for Christmas this year. That afternoon we had all successfully started a fire. The Zunden is easy to use and fun too. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for an easy and dependable way to start fires. It will always be in my backpack from now on.

I really like this pot. It is light weight and well built, with a very nice carrying pouch. The handle placement took a little getting used to at first but it works well on a camp stove or small fire.

I originally purchased one Kuksa and one Kanu for my son for Christmas. Once they arrived, I purchased two more sets for my other two sons! I am just so impressed by the beauty, craftsmanship, and uniqueness of these products. I am dropping hints to all three of my boys for my upcoming birthday! Thanks so much for your beautiful work. The picture is of my son enjoying a hot drink in front of our fireplace. Cheers!

I love this product and its perfect ability to provide calm in uncertain times. I spent time with my oldest daughter (9 years old, I have 7 kids) using your stove to boil water for French press coffee. Starting the stove with your ferro rods and turning twigs and wood pieces into heat for cooking our great little life lessons. Thank you for giving me this time with my children. A priceless adventure from such a little stove.
