First off, I love the creative quilty box! I know it is just cardboard, but I love it! Next the fabrics are so very nice, great quality too. Not always what I would be drawn too, but I like that part too. And the extra surprise is always fun.

I am very excited about the colors and the pattern for the middle block. I had a little problem with so many points in the center but am still pleased with the table runner that I made. I modified a block from box 1 to put on both sides of the middle blick. I love that the pattern pieces are full size and I have been able to modify them to make other pieces for the blick.

Well at last my Box 7 has arrived. Oh my!!! the colours are amazing and the projects to be made are all brilliant. I don’t know where to start. I usually do the BOM first, but then where to venture, a cushion, a table runner or a seat cushion. All are wonderful. As well as all this, a lovely quilting template, looking forward to trying that out too! All worth the wait, this time it took almost 3 weeks to get to me.Lets get started…….

The fabric is exceptional..little to no fraying...Easy to follow instructions...Everything you need for the projects in one, handy place! I stumbled on this place to find a surprise every month and so happy I did! This 22"x22" workbench block was a joy to make. It's not exactly like the pattern as I did shortcuts by making full squares in 4 corners instead of 9 snall squares and didn't use the 1.5" corners although cut out. I'm finishing this block with 2 additional blocks for a full size table runner instead of the other projects. Loved the colors.

I enjoy the surprise each month. Even though I know it is coming, on the day of delivery, I actually look forward to the mail. ( It is a great improvement over a stack of bills! I made a reading book pillow for my great granddaughter using some of the fabrics, and I will make more of these pillows using contrasting and complimenting fabric. The pattern I use only requires pieces cut from a fat quarter.

Still enjoying box #1. Decided that each month I'll make 8 more blocks, and will make a nice quilt. And made the cute mug rug and decided that I could use a tea kettle cozy so I whipped that up. And, after making 8 blocks and the mug rug and cozy, guess how much fabric I have left? Come on, guess, I still haven't used up one of the fat quarters packs. So I still have a full fat quarter pack to go. It's really alot of fabric. Enjoying my kit.

I was pleasantly surprised how nice the box was. I've been sewing for many decades, and like the color coded directions they are nice, easy on the eyes to follow. I flipped through the booklet, the recipe in the back was a sweet touch. I like the quilting journal too. Looking forward to making the quilt block of the month. I saw some off reviews. Honestly, I am pleased with the box's contents.
