Why didn't this exist 17 years ago 😪 my son is anaphylactic to milk and I must have spent a fortune on alternative milks over the last nearly 2 decades. I didn't expect this machine to work so perfectly. Throw a handful of almonds in the top blade container, make sure there's enough water and everything's sealed tight, and let 'her rip! I use my Milkyplant everyday, so easy and its amazing how many different types of milk I can make... my favourite is Barista with coconut and oats - I also add a couple of almonds and sometimes a date... the options are endless so creamy with coffee, just love this machine

Customer service has been hugely disappointing after the machine was dropped over my high gates and the delivery company said they’d compensate me - surprisingly they were excellent but the milky plant customer service were so unhelpful and wouldn’t follow up the delvoery companies offer

This was bought as a gift so I cannot comment on how it works as yet. However the design is great with good attention to ease of use and cleaning. My only comment would be on size and weight, if it could be smaller and lighter that would be a bonus, however I’m sure that this is dictated by the component parts. I nearly sent my Milky Plant machine back at first, as I got so frustrated with the stiffness of the top lid and the capsule that holds the filter - it just wouldn't come undone!. I kept getting the error numbers appearing. So far I like the machine but can’t say I love it. I think I need more time to play around with it. The almond milk still have a lot of small pieces. My daughter kept coughing while trying to drink it. I tried other recipes. Cashew works well. The coconut for some reason was hard to clean after. I had to do 3 cleaning cycles. I still think it’s a good appliance but there is definitely room for improvement.

It’s easy to make home made plant based drinks instead buying new packs every week at the store! Plus you can make your own flavours. Down points are that the filter can be improved to avoid depot in the milk, and the water reservoir is not always easy to put back as the button in the bottom doesn’t hold well in down position. I have been enjoying making almond milk, with both pre soaked and dry whole almonds. The milk is smooth but I have needed to sieve it before using it due to the presence of residues, even though I am not using too many nuts. Absolutely love Milky Plant! Great machine that does what it says, makes great plant based milks in minutes and gives lots of options for a variety of tastes and needs. If I’m ultra critical, it could be a bit quieter, I also have small hands so at times find manipulating the component parts a little difficult…..but I can live with that! The deep clean powder is out of stock currently I’m wondering if there an alternative option when this is unavailable?

This is a good product, in my opinion it needs a few design tweaks: The water tank has "min/max" but the max fill is not sufficient for a portion of milk then a clean through - the water level markers are pointless. The filter housing can be difficult to remove - some ergonomic though in the design process could easily improve this. A cable tidy functionality would be helpful. Great machine! I am so happy not to be lugging back home cartons of store bought oat or nut milk full of additives. Also, loving the way I can tailor what the machine makes to my taste by mixing nuts, or putting less nuts to make it a little less flavourful. I also noticed that even without adding salt it keeps for several days.

I love the idea of the milky plant. It’s quick, efficient and ticks most of the boxes I had hoped. The only negative and it’s probably the most important thing, is the milk. I have tried all of the suggestions about how to make the milk thicker, but it always seems just a little bit watery. Don’t get me wrong, I will still use it and try and find a way, but it’s the only disappointment I have had from this machine.

Works great and the nut milk is very good. However it’s difficult to take apart to clean. Like really difficult. Like break a nail every time you try to take it apart difficult. Not everyone is a body builder with super grip strength. This is a big design flaw and they need to fix it. It would be five stars from me without this issue. I hope they listen to customer feedback and fix this.

Machine seems quite good in principal but time will tell for its longevity. Very few reciepes for alternative "milk" such as Soy(a) as this is a medical requirement for me. I think that in summer I will use it with my homemade granola recipes and the milk will be delicious with that. I make oat milk, hazelnut milk and cashew milk. However, this machine doesn't produce a satisfactory product to use in my coffee and tea. I am very disappointed. I clean my machine straight away after each use, but I found that, even after cleaning with vinegar, the mouldy smell still lingers. Perhaps, I have a faulty milky plant.
