Here in the UK I really could not see a quality chin mount made in this country. So I looked more online and saw 2 makes of chin mount sold in the USA. I decided on a Ride Tech chin mount. I have purchased three different GoPro mounts for two different type helmets. Both perform fantastic and I have a lot of confidence in the product. The only thing that is a negative would be the fact that the bottom often starts to come apart and I have to constantly clip the strings coming off from the 3-D printing. If I grab it I’m afraid I can pull it until it disappears. Maybe it’s a temperature issue.

The mount works as intended, fits perfectly to the helmet and holds up really well even on highway speeds.
I installed it according to the pictures on the website and the bottom of the mount goes beyond the bottom of the helmet so the helmet rests on it when you put it down. Not ideal as it seems that this would wear it down faster.
Delivery to Australia took well over a month but it was arguably worth it.

The chin Mount is fit perfectly for shoei x spirit 3.
The additional Mount that comes with is low quality.. unfortunately it broke after one use.
I’ll recommend to go for the “only Mount” option.

It takes trail and error to line up the camera frame, once in place I have a photo to check in the future against as I am sure due to vibration the camera will drop over time and need re-adjustment. This would be true I expect for any chin mount. This is a very good mount though.

Great mount first and foremost easy to install. Make sure to thoroughly clean the area and apply heat till adhesive is tacky then install. My pros for this are price point good mount and sturdy. My cons are the part that clips onto these mounts that you can order with them are subpar. They rattle a lot and don’t seem to fit properly. I always put these on, although the camera mount is solid I just feel safer with a backup. Probably a good idea to just buy the complete package plus as its cheaper if you buy everything at once.

Great mount for the RF-1400. Holds my GoPro securely to my helmet. It doesn't block you from opening the air vent below the visor, and as long as you put an extension on your GoPro you can still easily open and close your visor.
