Customer photo review of Shoei GT-AIR Camera Mount

John K.

The gopro helmet mount works perfectly on my Shoei GT Air helmet. Small yet secure. I had a small problem with my first one but after a quick email Ridetech Moto sent me a replacement free of charge, no questions. Totally happy with both the product and the after sales service.

I'm usually not a fan of adhesive mounts but it uses a high quality 3M backing that stays in place perfectly, chin mount is definitely the best camera angle and having a custom fit to your helmet is important. I'm having a blast getting perfect footage while riding on the weekend or using my camera as a 'dashcam' while commuting.

Due to the curvature of the helmet, the lens is just a bit off-center, but the video looks great. heated the adhesive with a hair dryer before attaching, clamped firmly for 24 hours, and it's solid as a rock.

Can’t recommend these guys enough. Bought my mount a few weeks before Christmas, but my courier in the UK lost it. They sent out another one, and thankfully that was delivered. Highly recommended 🙂

The mount fit perfectly, im extremely glad i went with Ridetech. My mount is unfortunately out of commission, along with my helmet and other gear due to an accident, that I caught on my camera with the Ridetech mount. The mount and camera stayed attached to the helmet and to my surprise held up tremendously well for the impact it sustained. If it wasn't for that mount I wouldn't have had the footage of a drunk driver hitting a bus causing the bus to smash into me. 10/10 will recommend and will b...

For Ridetech: the angle of the mount that makes contact with the helmet is just barely not severe enough to perfectly mate with the Ghost Bandit's mandible. The 3M strip thankfully is strong enough to not nessecarily care, but if the specs were tweaked just slightly it'd give it an even stronger (however unessecary) hold. For other buyers: Solid mount that just fits right on and holds. The 3M adhesive is plenty strong, and the shape is contoured adequately. Holds a heavy knock-off with no issu...

I highly recommend this product. It’s like tailored made for Shoei and looks so clean on my helmet. Already recommended this to my friends. Just be patient with the shipping time. But it is worth the wait!!

Have been using it with my GoPro Hero 11 & my Insta360 X3 whithout problems so far. I have the security rope attached to the inside of the helmet just in case something hits the camera and take it off the mount.

I had a strap on chin mount before this one and the video quality was not that good as it had too much vibration. With this new Ride Tech stick on mount made for my AGV helmet it is really good. Great service and product. I would definitely recommend it.

Fits my CL17 perfectly. I use my camera with filters and some extra audio bits so the mount has to be strong. I’ve never worried about safety. Now if they would offer a few color choices…!

Nice and secure mount that doesn't get into your field of vision. Can't even tell it's there with helmet on. Easily adjust angle for either upright seating position or for a full tucked superbike mode. I've got both and worked great over the weekend. Tested at over 130 mph and no issues.

The fit is excellent and the mount does not interfere with the ventilation. Maybe the extension arm could be a bit longer to be able to adjust the angle of the camera, but that’s nitpicking. Great product!

I've bought several of these mounts. A few for the rf-1200's, and a couple for the x-14's. All have been very well made, and I've never had one come off. I swear by these mounts, and pass my opinion on to anyone who asks. Great product!

Fits the contours perfectly. The mount was packaged very nicely as well. Used the included alcohol wipe to clean the mounting area, used a heat gun to heat up the glue and stuck the mount where I wanted. The mount holds GoPro mounts very snug. Would recommend!

Fit perfectly, I use an hair dryer to soften the plastic and adhesive for the application. I was concerned about how strong it will be with the GoPro fitted in but no problem at all. I did some heavy off road in mid, clay and rain and had no issue what so ever. Awesome product.

So I purchased the helmet go pro mount for our new HJC RPHA 11 helmet and I have to say how impressed we are with this mount, Custom designed for the HJC helmet and fits perfect. Thanks again for making such great products and also features fitting on our YouTube channel “motouk” cheers Nick

Best mount I've ever had. I love the low profile look it has with the camera on there. Easy install and it feels super sturdy and secure. Couldn't recomend this enough.. If you are looking for a chin mount, don't grab one of those bulky ones that stick way out.. Best one especially if you're using the Arpha 11 pro

Couldn't have found a better mount for my helmet. Fit the curve like a glove. Took a tumble on the bike a few weeks ago and mount stayed on the helmet with no problems!

Andy S.

The adhesive pad provided wasn’t the best. So I used a compound that is a putty that goes hard after mixing together. That way I know I can trust the GoPro being mounted. The profile of the mount is perfect and is easy to install. Small and compact which doesn’t leave the lines of the helmet ugly. Slim and perfectly formed. Highly recommend.

Chose this as it was designed to fit my helmet and I wanted a frontal mount rather than the side mount id been using. To be honest it took quite a while to arrive. Postal strikes were to blame I am told. When it did it was well packaged and fits like a glove. There are you tube videos showing how to fit and how long to wait before outdoor use. Have used quite a few times now including heavy rain and it feels solid and well made. Really pleased with how I can position my GoPro now. Would definite...

Customer photo review of Shoei Hornet X2/ADV Camera Mount

This GoPro mount fits perfectly to my Shoei Hornet helmet and provides a nice low-profile mount for my camera. I like that it is not as big and bulky as other options. I highly recommended it!

Shoei Hornet X2/ADV Camera Mount

Omar C.

Conforms well to the shape of the helmet. The mount is not cheap (cost), but worth it if it means saving a $300 GoPro. I lost a camera when the standard GoPro mount came unglued on a hot, sunny day from not fitting well on the helmet.

Customer photo review of Shoei GT-AIR 2 Camera Mount

I bought the bundle set and mounted with an Akaso 4K action cam in hopes of mimicking a dash cam set up for riding my motorcycle. The whole set up does add weight but it’s bearable. It took me a little longer than normal to place the mount on my helmet due to the open vent needing enough space when the clip is inserted into the mount. I recommend opening the vent when installing so you know how much space to expect. I haven’t had any issues and would definitely recommend to a friend.

Great mount. Good price. Ordered the GT-Air mount and they’ve sent me the GT-Air 2 one instead, a quick email to the team and it was resolved instantly. Bit of an inconvenience but given the quick response and solution to the error I’d still give 5* . The mount is great, rode about 2.5 hours in torrential rain and the mount still stuck on. This is the 2nd one I purchased from them and I will return for a 3rd if I ever need one.

Waited and even wrote in asking for when this was available for my new helmet. This is the 2nd mount I have bought and both have been rock solid. Thank you Ride moto, this is MUCH nicer than some of the other options out there. Much sleeker when you don't use a camera. This is my go to now for any helmet I have.

We bought 2 of these for our Shoei Gt air helmets for our trip round the nc500 and they did exactly what we had hoped, they fit perfectly, are easy to fit and use and are sturdy keeping our GoPro's safe and capturing the amazing memories on camera ! Thank you!

Customer photo review of X-Lite X-803 Camera Mount

Arrived fairly quickly, tracking was there however the updates were a bit iffy, but understandable as it came from another country. Mount itself is very good, fits really well on the helmet, and quite strong, just make sure to clean and heat up the adhesive and you’ll have no issues. Overall great product, could be cheaper though.

The scorpion helmet I bought has a super complicated chin section, there was no way a flat mount would work. The Ridetech mount for perfectly and matched the helmet 10/10

It fits really good and I'm more than surprised. The 3M sticky pad holds well onto the helmet. Also the quality of the product is very good. If you want a sleek solution for a GoPro mount choose Ride Tech.

I’ve was looking for a GoPro mount from the moment I got this helmet and the only way to get the GoPro in that specific location was using a long joints but it made the front very messy. This mount allows you to place the GoPro right on front of the helmet and once you put the GoPro on it looks clean.

The install was super easy and fit great, and with a little adjustment to angle of the arm it came with a GoPro 9 Black slots right in with no issues. It sits low enough you don't even see the camera while wearing the helmet.

Excellent easy to install product. Been using the mounted Go Pro for months now zero issues. Clean low profile. I have recommended this to a few of my fellow riders. Ensure you follow the directions before use.
