I am very satisfied with my result, but I will say that the numbers are too dark to be covered by the lighter paint. I used up to six layers in places and pulled out some gesso in my attempts to hide the numbers, without great success. But in the end, I can only see them when I'm close and looking - so it's okay. But I think Simple Painting needs to lighten those numbers! Also, my biggest tip is: Take a picture of the unpainted canvas in case you forget which color you were painting. Some of th...

This has taken me a few weeks and I'm still not done (holidays, new kitten, work, laziness). My parents picked it out for their house. It's much darker than I thought it would be but I also realized if I add water to some of the paints they're much lighter (in a good way). I love doing paint by number (PxN) and have had amazing customer service with simple painting. I ordered 3 more to get me through the winter months.

This was my first kit and I really enjoyed it. I worked a few hours a day for a few weeks. My only complaint is I needed smaller brushes. I bought some of my own because the kit brushes weren’t enough. I’ve since bought a kit for my mom and will do another. It was fun and relaxing.

I really like how this turned out. I like everything about Simple Painting except they don’t give you a number sheet to go with the canvas. Once you paint over the number you have no idea what color to go back with for touch up. I emailed them about this and received no feedback so my second piece came with no numbered sheet. Until they correct this I will have to go elsewhere.

I really enjoyed this painting, I loved the colures and it was more intense work than usual. However the sky colures was far away from original and I had to mix other colures to make it look closer to the original and that will give a good flow. I would recommend in general to add a paper with a copy of the painting with the numbers to help with better correction once the painting is completed (a better experience I had with other companies)
