I got this upgrade to make sure my BeastGrip Pro was ready for my next phone. What I didn't realize was that the replacement has two tightening screws on the side. My original just had one tightening screw. Feels so much more "in place." Follow the instructions for disassembly and assembly. I just dove in and created more work for myself. Minor inconvenience though.

I ordered the lower arm replacement for the option of using the tripod pivot point centered on the lens. The bonus was that the bar that allows the half that holds the lens was attached to the lower arm. The old way was a stand-alone bar. Now there are fewer parts to misplace or assembly screws to come loose. Somehow the BeastGrip Pro feels more solid (but...that might be that I used it for 6 weeks with a screw missing...)

Both the Beastcage for my iPhone 13 Pro Max and the 1.55x anamorphic lens are beautifully made. The phone is easily placed into and removed from the cage. I could not have a more valuable piece of gear than this lens. For me going out without it would be like leaving the office in pajamas! The M series wide angle lens is the workhorse of my Beastgrip and Beastcage rigs. I literally use it for every shot unless I'm changing to the 3X telephoto. It creates a perfect look for my Phoning it in half hour specials and daily feature stories.

The Beast Cage is excellent. I could do pretty much anything I wanted with my iPhone. It allowed me to hook it onto to different rigs, and add any of the lenses that Beast Grip offers. It's a must if you want the freedom and flow for your videos.

The iPhone 11 Pro camera has a large lens diameter, so vignetting has occurred with the previous adapter. I have an iphone14pro and the new beastcage. 1.7x Lens works with both the main and tele lenses on the iphone. So far so good. I appreciate having the extra reach with the iphone. Hey, I moved from android and the Beastgrip rig to iPhone and the Beastcage. With the Beastcage, it removes one of the variables from setting up the excellent anamorphic lenses and the platform is more suited for me, on location/site. Stiff holding feeling and gives good balance when hand-held shooting!! NATO rail is so easy to operate and helps for safety too!
