I bought two of these to use with the BeastCage 13 Pro Max. Just gave them their trial run during a work trip this past week, and they were great. The handles are very solidly built yet fairly light, comfortable in the hand but with just enough knurling to keep them from being slippery. Great cage for the IPhone 13 Pro Max.. couldn't be more happy. It's a great cage for getting IPhone Webill S gimbal footage. Buttons work great, and the phone fits like a glove. I also love the lens mount system. Get it.. you'll be glad you did.

Provides just enough “diffusion” to take the crisp digital edge off the image. While image or video remains sharp it has a softer cinematic/film feel. Depending upon the scene requirements both the 1.0 and 0.5 work equally well while differing in degree. I own and use them both and do recommend them.

Nice and sturdy! Use Arca-Swiss plates to mount to my tripods. (Also, since they’re thinner it doesn’t create as large a ‘bump’ under my hand when shooting vertically hand-held).

Love it!! I probably messed with it for about an hour and a half adding lights, plates, & accessories to it. It makes my iPhone Se look like a serious recording machine! I've wanted this forever. Now I need to build it out. I have to look for a handle grip as well as purchase yours or Moment's lenses and the Dof adapter!

The cage is certainly bigger and more cumbersome than just having a lens mount on a phone case, but it will also fit any phone rather than being specific to one, and includes multiple mounting points for tripod, microphone, light etc. The integrated grip is also very handy. The anamorphic lens is also lovely, I really enjoy using it, which is the best recommendation for anything! I must like the products ok, I've just ordered the Telephoto and Macro lens to go with it!

So far I’m really happy. Have purchased a step-up ring for filters, and and extra accessory foot for future use. Played with the wide-angle/macro lens combo that came with it and was impressed! At first I thought it was overkill for my needs. However, the Beastcage is simply awesome. It’s pretty heavy, but my phone feels secure and protected. I like how easy it is to remove from the case and quickly change lenses. You can attach so many things easily.

Honestly, this is by far the best video rig I’ve used. It’s robust and small features like the locking rail knobs are mint! And it’s super light. It’s a 10/10 and will work w/ any phone which is a huge plus for longevity!

TLDR: Very well made, 10/10 would recommend. Solid mount, good threads. Too a minute to figure out which hole it was supposed to thread into because I’m dumb but it worked out in the end.

I had a couple older models and recently purchased a new grip pro, and then the two upgrades for my older models. The upgrade makes it easier to mount my Sony Xperia and lenses, and my new iPhone uses only for videography. It’s a high quality accessories.

Beast Cage’s cellphone cage design is the ONLY one that works flawlessly. Don’t be fooled by knockoff “G” lens web sites (Amazon) that actually require fine tuning depending on your phone. In other words, if it’s not Beast Cage—it’s crap. Beast Cage is the industry standard as far as I’m concerned . Remember: You get what you pay for!”

If I could give this more than 5 stars I absolutely would. I’m just now getting back into film after several years, and this makes my video and film look professional. If I had to give it at least 1 con; that would be the lack of compatibility with gimbals. Sturdy, packaged quickly, and shipped fast.

While it's a little bit of a challenge to figure out at first, once you do, it's easy-peasy to setup! You do have do be careful though to get the clamps around the DOF 2 tight to hold all in place.

I love the BeastGrip App. I give it a 10... The hardware is very nice with room for a camera light and external mic. My only complaint... You are out of lens the people want, like the 133 or 155 mm. You can't sell what you don't have. I am not crazy with the fish-eye lens given in the kit. I just gave you me email to be notified when you get new 155 mm lens. Hope it's soon! Overall a great device to use. I have used my phone a lot in the past to record videos but the extra grip this gives makes the experience so much better. the functionalities are truly endless. I use an iPhone 13 Pro and a challenge I find most users will have is the three cameras on the phone, which limits you to using one focal setting at a time. not much a limitation for myself as I don't always need adjust the zoom during shoots. I allready reviewed the item but just want to add that I know understand the deal off adding an external lens on your iphone 12 max. The three lenses don’t have the same sensors, the wide and the tele are of poorer quality that’s why it’s is better to use the main 1x lens which is 12mp - when adding a wide angle lens in front of it, it remains 12mp. That’s a reason to buy this!
