These are honestly so easy to install. With our 4th room now completed with SmartWing shades, we've gotten better at measuring exactly and knowing where the brackets will go. Ours attached with 1 screw to each bracket into our window frame pretty evenly spaced. The trick is to look at the header rail first and mount the bracket where there is no mechanism (motor, etc.). Great shades—easy to install once the first one is done. Adjustable guide wires help with wind and matter motors, and a straightforward top program ( Homekit ) works with Siri! Love it! Bought one initially because I wasn't sure if we were going to like it, ended up buying a second one for another room. Went with the Matter motor which responds quick. Installation is harder than the motorized roller blinds but doable with two people. Also note that this requires an electrical outlet and is not a rechargeable battery so choose your power cord length accordingly!
