The .5 is insanely light. Like it’s ridiculous. The fact that it still has all the features of the 1.0 is awesome. I’m 260# with a 13-14 boot depending on brand. Although I also have a 1.0 I will definitely be using this for quick hunts. It takes a little practice, but after getting comfortable with it, even at my size I find it to be enough room to get the job done. I matched it with the thicker 1.0 size seat cushion and love it.

The lwcg straps are perfect for the lone wolf wide flip top climber. Install was easy, just adjust to your liking. Put a mile in the Texas heat the first trip out and no issues. Great product at the right price!

I’ve been through numerous packs looking for the perfect whitetail hunting pack and I believe I found it! Love the top load design and the tree strap. Perfect for the pocket arm and your camera.

I love the stand. By far the best stand I have ever owned. I just wish the sticks were a little more secure. Maybe some longer grommets would help. I wound up using Titan Straps to secure them for packing and they are dead silent that way. Great stand and system.

Love these new stands. Lighter. Love the seat option and love the new color and look. Also love the way the sticks pack on. Super low profile. Well thought out for the run and gun hunter.

Packs in like it’s barely on your back with a profile that allows you to fly through the woods like a jeti ninja in the night. 8ft-20ft silently in minutes on dang near any tree. Simply put, this system outperforms all the others and gives you the ability to stay “in the game” each and every hunt.

The packability of the compacts is unmatched. Being able to mount flush to any of the LWCG stands is a huge benefit to this stick. Once on the tree, the pivoting brackets ensure a proper no-slip bite on the tree.

This bag is a baddddd dude. I have it mounted in the “under the seat” configuration. It allows me to take everything into the woods that I need. A knife, headlamp, flashlight, external battery pack, lightweight limb saw, license & tags, filming camera, external microphone, gear ties, milkweed, range finder, trigger release, gloves, beanie, LWCG pocket arm & fluid head, and a thermacell. All this and there is still room for me. It’s mission essential on every stand.

The small J Hooks are a great fit to keeping the mini ladders attached to my Ambush and .5 Lock-on stand. I painted mine blue, so I can find them in the leaves 🍁. ( I’ve lost too many items that were black or camo, when dropped )

Needed a upgrade to my old Lone Wolf climber, these straps and waist support fit it great, and are amazingly comfortable, can’t even tell the stand is on my back, thanks LWCG

I am fully pleased with the Pocket Arm and will use it for glassing whitetail deer. I added a short black rubber hose (with nut and wood plug) to protect the pointed bolt. Will use with Vortex Pro Car Window Mount (pan-tilt head 11.9 ounces). Made a bracket from aluminum T section (2"x2"×1/4 x 2.625" long); with square hole for epoxy-set nylock nut and 1/4-20 x 1" long bolt (with short nylon bushing in the Pocket Arm hole); base of T is 1.5" wide with 45 degree step bevel = arca swiss just in c...

Just got these 20” double steps and love them. While the 17s were great sticks the 20s stick to the trees even better with the optimum length/balance. The pic shows them on my 1.0. The fit well on my .5 as well. Running (both) rope mod with the factory straps and daisys per the lwcg video. Can’t wait to hunt with them this season and they’re likely to be my go to. Job well done CG!

This things rock solid! I love the ability to have three in one, I always rely on a true compass rather than my phone, I like milkweed when I’m in the stand or sitting in a low wind and realy want to know where my scents going, mixed with thermals, etc. I keep it on a retractable gear hook and it’s perfect! Grab one! You won’t regret it !

As I write this review, I am sitting in the .5 for the late season here in PA. This stand is so light it makes the long walks up the mountain so much easier. And if you set the stand up correctly it is rock solid once cammed in. I look at deer areas and trees completely different now simply because I don't have to get high in the tree and the tree doesn't have to be very large diameter like when using my climber. I look for cover in high traffic areas. Height is no longer important. Thank y...

Hands down best deer season I’ve ever had. Always been mainly mobile but with a old one piece climber. I was tired of getting spotted in a straight tree that provides no cover, and being forced to hunt wrong wind with lack of finding a straight tree. Harvested a buck on public 2 sticks high. Without a doubt a complete new tool to be able to use and use it correctly. Choosing a tree based on cover and wind will for me be the result of many big buck dirt naps going forward. Having this set up has ...

This is my first year saddle hunting and I really like the comfort of this larger size platform. Also how light weight it is. You can stand on the extreme edge and it is still rock solid.

I was looking for a well built, sturdy, spacious and light weight platform made in the USA. LWCG nailed it as usual. From my 1.0, climbing sticks, Wolfpack and more, LWCG delivers great gear to make my hunts more productive and comfortable. Highly recommend this platform and any of their other gear.

Purchased the Lone Wolf .5 to create the lightest hang and hunt set I could. I hike in a long way and set up needs to be simple and effortless. Takes a little bit to accustom to the smaller platform but the weight of this stand makes hanging it a breeze. Second set out of the .5 I was able to harvest a ten point…archery 2022, thanks Lone Wolf. Derrick S

These straps are extremely comfortable and offer very nice support. The waist belt is certainly the icing on the cake. Well made. It gives you the option to remove and use shoulder straps only also.

I absolutely love the Wolfpack!!! This is a must have for mobile hunters. This compact backpack has everything you need for a day trip with being extremely lite weight. The quality of the Wolfpack second to none. If you are on the fence about buying one don’t be!!! I love how the bag has such a wide opening in the top to access all you gear. The top access is perfect for me to be able to get gear out with less movement and much quitter. The space inside is perfect for all my camera gear and acc...

I was impressed at the minimal weight, profile and packability of the double steps, even with the cable aiders like the ones I am using. They're very light and easy to carry, strapped to the outside of my pack. I did notice the sharp edges, which many people have commented on, although I don't see it as an issue. I covered the main shaft of the steps with stealth tape, and spray painted the rest with a flat camo paint out of a rattle can from the hardware store. I was a little disappointed at ho...

These 17” double sticks are the most compact set of climbing sticks that I’ve come across and they are about as light as a set of four sticks can be. I stealth stripped and shrink wrapped them to make them whisper quiet. Waiting on the 17” cable aiders to come in so I can attaché them. Definitely excited about hunting with them this season.

I’ve always packed in a swing arm bow holder to have the bow sit within arms reach and have minimal movement in reaching for the bow at the most important times. But this LWCG Sidekick- kicks ass and throws in ease of use, I am hooked on this especially on this long deep woods hauls when every ounce counts.

This is a fabulous lock-on! I had the .5 before, which was great, but I didn’t like the small seat. LWCG didn’t offer the option of a larger seat change out. I sold my stand, and purchased the 1.0. This stand only 2.5 lbs more, which isn’t a big deal overall. I’m able to be super mobile on public land and hunt safely and most importantly comfortable. I highly recommend this stand, and all LWCG products.

I really like the pack-ability of the .5. It’s small enough I can scout/shoot my bow with it on my back. I pair with my TX5 saddle and I have plenty of options for an all day set. Really impressed with the workmanship of the stand as well. Definitely satisfied with my new stand! Great work guys! Wv Hillbilly Out!

Couldn't decide if I wanted a saddle or sitter so got both. LWCG .75, 20in DoubleSteps, 20in Aiders. Engineering perfection. Best part is the doubles pack really tight to the stand with no fiddling with tie-downs. It's like Legos. Both stand and steps are very solid in the field.

This is my first season with a LWCG 1.0 and its light and extremely strong. I got on top of deer twice in the first week of archery season. I think is a great tool for bowhunting and an investment for years to come.

Just received my lwcg .5 and double steps. Paired together are gonna be a game changer for long hikes. Super light and love how the seat makes a shelf for my pack or hauling out meat. I will also be using this stand in conjunction with my saddle. I now have the best of both worlds in my arsenal.

First time in the woods I snuck into a thick edge. My first “real” buck, an 8 point Chattahoochee National Forest mountain buck strolled by and I smoked him. The stand is light. Deceptively comfortable at its size. I recommend this thing to everyone. Worth every dang penny!!!!
