I like the stackability of the double sticks. I tried one sticking last year and like these better. Did a mod to them with Bed liner spray to get them a little quieter. Looking forward to this hunting season.

The grommet is fine with no strap or rope on your sticks. They seem to be designed to lay the sticks flat with nothing between them. You can wrap rope or your cam strap around the sticks but they don't hold together well without something securely holding them together. I use the j-hooks and that works. It would be nice if there was a more secure way they hold together like a twist lock. If you set them into the stand and lift the stand up close to a 90 degree the sticks come out of the grommet....

I love my .5. But I was wondering if anyone has been having trouble with their cinch straps in humid weather? It seems like every time it gets super hot and humid down here in S. Ga the strap always let loose while I'm toe hooking my stand. I don't know if it's due to the silky strap or not. Never had a problem with a stand before

I have been hunting with climbing sticks for 30 years. Holding the sticks together for traveling has always been a small thorn in my side. This J-hooks are a wonderful, simple way to package up and hold these Lone Wolf climbing sticks together. The whole system makes a very nice, neat package. The only reason I didn't give the hooks 5 stars, is because it works great with a standard set of sticks, but I ordered some extra sticks and now the hooks aren't long enough to work with the added sticks ...
