My only regret is not jumping into one of these .5’s earlier. Having run a 1.0 for the past two seasons, I made quick work of tagging my first deer in the .5 on a quick sit in January of 2024. This will be my go to for those quick run & gun make it happen hunts. Faster, lighter and more efficient than any other stand on the market; a byproduct of 40 years of innovation.

I actually bought this wolf pack as gift for my son. I have one myself and in my opinion it’s the best whitetail pack around! Pack has plenty of storage compartments. My favorite parts are that it attaches to the stand nicely and also attaches to the tree with the buckles where it is right there with easy access to the items inside.

This stand has everything I was looking for in a stand. Lightweight, packability, silence, and the way it grips the tree are all second to none. The only hesitation I had was platform size, but it didnt really bother me too much, and there is more than enough room to move around while standing. While sitting, tiptoes of my boots on the very edge of the platform. Only complaint I have, is it would be nice to have a small micro foot rest to be able to stretch out a little while sitting. But other ...

Awesome stand. I hiked a mile with it and couldn’t believe how much better it felt compared to my climber. Now I can’t wait to get some red on it. Good luck this season 🏹

Simply the best. I have used multiple other methods to hunt out over the years and when you want a mobile lock on stand. This is the one to get. Everything has been thought of how the stand, sticks, and all the things function together. I couldn’t ask for a better light weight setup I can run and gun with. When it comes to the size of the .5 it is small, but that is by design. I’m 5’9ish and don’t mind sitting in this for a few hours at all. The main thing is getting the seat level to the ...

Love how these aiders can be twisted and stored away on each stick. Once the aiders are deployed, they sit at an outward angle, away from they tree. This allows easy foot placement in low light. They also allow you more height out of less sticks.

Awesome tree stand. I loved the backpack straps. My setup weighs 15.5 lbs. much easier to hang than my old lock-on. I’ve always hunted in an old man climber. I’ve found my new favorite tree stand.

The DS.5 is literally the best run and gun public land stand I've ever used. I was using the DS 1.0 but now that I have the .5 its my go to for public land sits while the 1.0 pulls private land duty. For those that like to hunt using a saddle, the .5 gives you the option of hunting hybrid style or stand style or both on those all day sits. The integration built in for sticks, whether it be the compacts or the doubles is industry leading. I own both sets of sticks and both work flawlessly with t...

I have never owned sticks that integrate with a stand like the Custom Gear products do. Honestly they are loud but after you stealth stripped them or hockey tape them, they are silent. I am thrilled with the way they bite to a tree and the buckle less method is bad ass. Don’t even think twice, buy them. Just another home run from LWCG. A perfect reason to choose this company over the others. Quality, customer service, creativity, bad ass ness.....get on board or be left wanting more....👍🏻

Added the 20” cable aider to my bottom xop stick which required a longer bolt but well worth it! I’m getting 13ft up with two sticks which is high enough for me in most places! I was only going to add it to the bottom stick but it’s so stable I will add it to another stick so I can run with two sticks and hunt 14ft up- if your hesitant on trying it just buy one and try it- you will be ordering more- totally the way to go😊

Aiders are noice! That’s me with a conservative stretch between sticks, 4 sticks 4 aiders and I’m pushing 18ft easy. If need be I could really gap them apart to push over 20ft! makes for a nice climb well made pack decent. BUY EM!

The LWCG wire aiders have transformed sticks!! I’m able to achieve the same height as my old LW sticks, with 2 steps and so so much lighter. They are 50% of the weight of the LW sticks. I like the 20” aiders, better than the 17”, because of my foot size.

These are such a super cool and sturdy step! I put 20” aiders on them. This gives me the same reach as my old LW sticks at half the weight!!

I put 20” aiders on both my LWCG Double steps and my mini sticks. Also put the 17” aiders on my old LW sticks. The new idea of cable aiders and sticks are the way to go!!!

Well in short, if your wife or girlfriend can have a gold plated wine opener, wedding ring AND engagement band. Then we can have the finest and most streamline of bling on our stand, the sidekick! More reliable than your high school wingman/woman and prolly better looking!

I went through my set up last season and put it on a diet. My other pack had me being lazy and bringing too much. Now I have what I need to hunt.

Super light and thinner than expected. They flex a little, but stay firm to the tree. I paired with 3 aiders and use the tethrd versa straps and it’s one compact unit. Very happy with this choice. I was between tethrd one stick and the timber ninjas. I feel like I definitely made the right choice. 3 sticks with aiders gets my feet about 20ft up. Not bad.

I am a saddle hunter but use the .5 as my platform. I have had both hips replaced and like to be able to turn and sit every once in a while. This stand is perfect, it packs well and is very quick and quiet to set up!! Thanks!!

Love what this company stands for. Made in the USA with uncompromising quality. You get what you pay for. I’ve regretted every treestand I’ve ever purchased in 25 years of hard bowhunting except for Lone Wolf and Lone Wolf Custom.

I’m not just completely impressed with my camera pocket arm I’m impressed with Lone Wolfs customer service. When I ordered this arm I asked a question in the note area. Got a hand written response from the owners wife herself. That means a lot! Especially, since recently dealing with another archery company and getting treated awful like I was a burden and waste of their time with a legit Warranty issue. That said, this pocket arm on initial review is so freaking sweet. Being completely unbiased...

The cables make this a full size stick, without the weight or bulk. The cables, vs straps or Amstel are rigid, and you can find them in the dark while descending the tree.

These heads are exactly what I expected from LWCG. Fly point of aim and hit hard. The hole these heads leave is undeniable! Look forward to putting these through a rib cage or two this fall. Really looking forward to the 125s as well.

I have owned them all in search of the perfect bag and this one is hands down the best one I have EVER used. The thought that went into producing this piece is second to none. From the internal compartments, to the 2 zippers in the lid, and the dump pouches are sick. Just the small things such as pull string grommets in the bottom of the pockets keeps life simple. It is plenty to throw in bulky outer layers and the connectivity to the .5 is the cherry on top. Awesome job guys..... I can't ...

Listen, I’m not going to say that every bowhunter needs this pack… but if you’re actually reading this review, then you definitely need this pack. It was designed for guys like you (and me). I bought the two most popular “small” amazonian packs and I also snagged one of the premium camo brand’s smaller pack during a huge sale.. and in all cases, I got what I paid for; an inferior pack that’s just fine for something like lightweight hiking or maybe a quick scout… but not for a serious hunt, let ...

It's a great stand. I was worried that a .5 was going to be too small, but this .75 is perfect size. I probably could have gone with the .5 but there is hardly a downside. A few ounces maybe. A tad bit more length with the .75. I've been using an assault 2 for a long time. Thought I had that set up nice, but what a difference in weight and size for this new stand. I purchased the double steps and everything is well thought out to use together. It's expensive, but I thought that about the assault...

This is a great stand it’s a dream to hang on the tree and it’s the perfect size to use as a traditional stand or a saddle platform. A couple of cons though I’m 5’10” 175 pound and the small size seat that comes standard on this stand is not the most comfortable thing out there. The next thing is the foam for the cushion is very loud on my sitka clothes it sounds a lot like rubber squeaking, like rubber boots on a stands cables. None of this is a deal breaker by no means stealth stripping the cu...

I’ve always been a fan of mobile hunting and targeting a specific buck. This year I decided to purchase a Lone Wolf .5 Public Land Stand to take my mobile hunting to the next level. Two sticks with cable aiders, makes for a quick setup when you need to get aggressive. M.L. - Virginia

The stand and sticks are a perfect match. They come as advertised. I was concerned with the size at first coming from a climber but I have yet to be uncomfortable even through day long sits. Shipping was quick and the stand came ready to go. I have the mesh seat with a 20 inch post. My stick set up is 3, 20 inch sticks with aiders on all three. I also have the side kick on the stand which has worked out well. My brother tried it out and ended up ordering the same set up with the 2.0 stand...

I’ve combined one 14” double step with The Fix to get a 5lb complete mobile set up! I can get to hunting height and shoot 360* around the tree and carrying my entire rig in one hand. LWCG is top notch and the products work great in conjunction with one another!

I’m really pleased with the Pocket Arm! It’s extremely light weight and compact, fit in my pack perfectly and was extremely easy to put on the tree. Held up really nicely to my canon g20 camera with fluid head. I’m pushing the 5lb limit on the arm and it’s handling it just fine! Extremely happy with this product.

This stuff is awesome!! I placed it a necessary spots on my sticks and stand and cam buckles, I can literally take my sticks off my stand and put them on and not make a sound. I have been running it on my sticks and stand for 2 years now and it’s still holding up solid it almost seems like it gets better as it ages.
