Ordered 4 double steps with 17” aiders and am beyond impressed with my setup now. Favorite thing about them is that when all 4 sticks are stacked together, the entire stack of sticks is like 4 1/2 inches tall! Cant get more compact and packable than that. I stealth stripped all the metal contact points and now have the best system ive found to get up a tree after spending hundreds of dollars before on other sticks. These aren’t cheap but you wont ever regret it the first time you climb.

These 20 inch climbing sticks are awesome! Light weight and grip very well. Was able to get into some pretty gnarly trees and have a great setup because of these sticks.

Waist support has been a great addition to the stand. With the weight to the waist shoulder stress is reduced. My set up varies throughout the season between 20-25lbs. With the load lifter straps and the waist support it is hardly noticeable. Highly recommend!

I have used a variety of backpack straps for my treestands and my search is over. They use load lifter straps which the better hiking backpacks employ. The load lifter allows you to get the stand supported perfectly for comfort and stability. They are contoured which is a huge step up from the straight straps. Minus shipping issues, which is no one’s fault but third parties. These straps are awesome . Shoulders don’t start hurting half way out. I’m able to pinch it down tight to my back without it hopping around on me. I put electrical tap on a few things just to silence it more than what it already was. Super suprised at the weight difference between my other setups. Happy about the purchase for sure. Only downfall is the edges are pretty sharp on the sticks. I plan on going buckleless but will need to file the edges down to prevent premature ware on the straps.

Every now and then I hunt out of large diameter trees. These straps are longer than all the others I've found. So I swapped my shorter for these. Nothing worse than being in the right tree but the straps are too short.

I'm an older hunter who stays on the ground and needed just a single stick for hanging cams on public land, but wanted a quality lightweight one. LWCG's Double Step is great, ultra lightweight and strong; Andrae is not BS-ing when he explains how his sticks positively lock rock-solid to a tree. It safely gets me high enough to put cams out of reach and I can add an aider if I ever need to get a bit higher. If I ever make the move to tree hunting, I can also use it for single-sticking.

Bought two aiders for the 17” sticks and a .5 stand . Plan on using the stand with just the two sticks this year . The aiders work great and allow you to get pretty high keeping it minimal . It does take some playing with to get the sticks and stand to sit right and fold up after adding the aiders and using the J hooks to stack . Great product
