I've owned Common Projects, Koios, Thursdays, Adidas, and many others and they all had the similar issues of being stiff, heavy, creasing, low breathability, or hurting where they crease. I've sold them all because of me not wanting to wear them after a few weeks of wear. I was expecting these to be the same. I was wrong! I'm very excited to keep these and love the high quality materials and thoughtfulness of each part and explanation.

I wanted to wear my AP87's a few times before leaving a review. After a few outings in them, I can say that these are incredibly comfortable shoes that adapt well to any situation from work to play. Soft leather inside and out create a great fit. I followed the advice from other reviews and sized down. And even though they're all white, so far, any scuffs on the sole or leather wipe off easily. My second pair of Yellow Thread Sumi 1587s! I wanted another to keep in rotation so I don’t quickly wear out my other pair. They are so much more comfortable than other shoes I was advised to wear due to traumatic arthritis. These keep me moving and they are versatile-I even wore them to the Opera!

I have a pair of Common Projects Original Achilles White, and the quality and comport of the AP87 White Mountain is above it at half of the cost. Overall, it looks great and very comfortable. I usually wear size 10 on sneakers but it was recommended to size down, so I ordered 9 and it's a perfect fit.

The material and construction always make the shoe look clean and fresh. The fit is true to size and the sole is comfortable. I wish the inscription on the sole lasted longer as the letters began peeling off after five uses (coz I'm Asian and I always take them off at the door).

My first impression of the shoe is that it is very well made (advertised). Leather feels premium and all of the panels from both shoes aligned. I tried them on and they feel comfortable . It does feel roomier (wider) and more cushy than my CPs. That’s about all I can speak on them since I’m keeping them on ice until spring. So far, they feel like a great purchase especially for the price. Looking forward to wearing them.
