I am using it in my Horticulture classroom. My students absolutely love it and think it is the coolest thing ever. It has raised some interesting questions, as well as scientific ones. For example, my students wanted to see what would happen if the plant was given water and placed under a grow light versus natural sunlight. I feel limited by its capabilities. Since I started with a full on modular synth with the ability to create recordings of plants directly from the plant through my synth and my speakers. I found it frustrating to understand since I started with a more complex set up and then tried this platform. I am hoping to learn how to use the midi interface with this device for a better experience. I love my PlantWave! Fairly easy to interface with your devices. Interesting on many levels. Our whole family loves ambient noise. We use sound machines for sleeping and meditation. That is our favorite way to utilize the PlantWave device. Sitting in a meditation space while listening to a monstera or our big fiddle leaf is very calming.
