So, here you have a beautiful story: I bought my 1st TRIBIT StormBox Micro 2, almost a 1 year ago, I took it to almost 20 long hikes, camping and climbing sessions. Out of the box, the Lava sounds a bit muddy and messy, and really boomy depending on location. With EQ on the Lava (I did my own custom based on the Jazz preset), it's a different beast entirely. And that's a good thing. The Lava now has better clarity and detail, but the different genres of music I tried for both are a mixed bag.
