I’m giving 3 stars because I’m still unsure of how to rate this. I bought it as a Christmas gift for my 8 year old grandson. The quality is certainly good. It seems durable, and has detailed, colorful artwork. I was a disappointed when he opened the box to see that there were no instructions of any kind. I got this for my grandkids (7 & 9). They were interested for maybe an hour, but haven't been back in the 5 days we've had it. I was surprised to find that the view of the US is on an angle and looking from the east to the west (not straight on, as we are accustomed to looking at maps), so it makes it harder to locate states and would be extremely hard to draw in the states. It was not as expected. The US map angle was very disorienting so the kids (and adults) had a hard time finding things that should have been an "easy win". Ages 8, 6, 6 all lost interest quickly. My daughter in law who teaches said she couldn't use it in her classroom given it doesn't look like the US.- unrecognizable. The scale and organization was difficult. Very sorry I bought 2 sets thinking each of our kids' families could have one. They left it behind! Love it is made in the US. Wish...
