This really is the best way to make coffee. I also purchase organic green beans and roast them myself and then grind them a couple days after they've rested. My coffee is fantastic. Starbucks has nothing on us! If you want fantastic coffee buy one of these wonderful Yama coffee siphons. You will not be disappointed. This is my second one and it's just as wonderful as the first.

Love these filters! If you use vinegar and water to clean them every couple of days and let them air dry they last a very long time. You could also use OxiClean. Either way they are a great product and you don't have to use paper filters.

I love the coffee my Yama Siphon Coffee Maker produces! I also enjoy the process, watching and stirring as the water ascends up to the brewing chamber and then as the brewed coffee is pulled by the vacuum down into the pot.

Shipped quickly. Great looking product. Exactly as advertised . Was packed very well. For me, it worked well using a 12 : 1 water to beans ratio. I used 100g ground beans, just slightly more coarse than v60 with equal weight ice to water to start at 500g each then after 3 hours, added 100g each of ice and water. Was left with very little ice, maybe 50g after 4 hours and 6 min with “normal” indoor room temperature.

The coffee made with a Swedish coffee maker is the best tasting. (Plus cool to watch.) The beakers are easy to fill, clean and use. My only complaint is how easily they break. It doesn't take much to crack or shatter one. Perhaps they should be sold in packages, with a lower price....

It isn't the most sturdy thing, especially the beaker, but he says it makes the perfect cup. YAMA glass always has the beaker in stock, which is nice, as they break about every 4-6 months The shipping is quick, which means my husband doesn't have to rough it when making his coffee in the morning.

I had to replace the existing one because the grommet was no longer sealing properly. This caused the water to start descending to the lower part too early. The grommet alone is not available so I bought the entire top piece which solved the problem.

I have had this brewer for well over a decade - it makes the best coffee, period. I have umpteen ways of brewing coffee, roast my own beans, etc., and this style of coffee maker makes the cleanest coffee of all. I use the five cup brewer with a Cory glass filter with a two minute brew time (about a 90 second draw down). The grind is a 6k on a Baratza Vario. Very clean, complex, and sweet cup. Easy clean up.
