It’s been such a great help having a toddler Learning with Kelsey box. On the days my daughter doesn’t go to preschool, I can easily pick an activity to do with her. I love that it doesn’t also take much time to prep and the activities are varied. Every time she sees me pick up the box, she just squeals with excitement. This is a life saver. The learning with Kelsey box has been good for my toddler. I would say some of the activities are very short-lived, we could sit down to do a painting and be done 10 minutes later. However, some like the crafts can last longer. I do like the crafts and the play dough activities or the movement activities but the things like the “mini sensory boxes” don’t have nearly enough materials to be effective in actually being able to do the activity and those days we have to find something else to do. I think the activities are cute in theory, but most end up being too difficult for my 3 year old to do on her own. The popsicle stick ones and all of the bead activities in the October box were crazy. I ended up having to do most of those. I also have noticed that a bit of prep is needed. For example, the leaf wreath activity in the September box needed so many leaves traced and then cut out. Very time consuming.
