The first thing to note is that if you have short hair, you don't need a "dime" size amount. The first time I used it, that was WAY too much and I was left with very salty feeling hair. Always used sea salt sprays.. added some texture but never could recreate real salt water. Tried to make my own etc. was doubtful on this one too but gave it a try… I have to say it’s almost the exact same as ocean water. I have lived in the desert for seven years now, and until this product nothing would make my hair look like how it did growing up at the beach. Its literally like I took a trip home and dipped my hair in the ocean. My waves are defined and have a little bit of grip to them that a salt spray alone just won't give me.
