I use both the Wave Tamer and Ocean Hair products on alternating days. I don't have wavy or frizzy hair, It's just thick. But my preference is the Wave Tamer for the more natural and light feel it give all through the day, plus it has a nice hold. My hair feels more natural the next morning.

I purchased the discontinued formula which I love. It’s clean and easy to use and leaves no oily residue. It has a very faint scent (almost nothing.) Although the directions say to use it on wet hair, I use it after I dry my hair to provide texture and gentle hold. I also use it like a paste on pieces of hair around my face. Great stuff!

I have wavy hair, that’s thick on top, but I’m thinning in the front. I mix this in my hair after I slightly dry my hair with a hair dryer, and style my hair and it gives great volume after I it dries and I brush it again. It’s not heavy and feels like I’ve been surfing all day. A little gritty and textured. The smell is great as well. I like the original formula, hope it doesn’t change too much on the next production.

When allowed to dry on its own, it seems to accentuate waves, but doesn’t add much body. When blow dried, though, it seems to add significantly more volume.

I love these products! The trick is finding the "sweet spot" for your hair. I have been using just a small amount under my hair as a "root lifter" when I blowdry it. It adds so much volume!
