I have bought a few things with dream mats from you guys. I understand about the film left on them and I spent a long time scrubbing this mat in warm soapy water before using it.
As you can see, there's quite a bit of gold left in there and it still feels quite slimy. I spent another 30 mins scrubbing with the toothbrush and soap and eventually got pretty much all the gold out. The next day I still had more gold stuck.
Any tips (aside from what I've tried) to remove this film? I don't want to ...

Can’t recommend this sluice enough! I took it for its maiden voyage yesterday and played around with setting it up in the river. This is a replacement mat for my 6 inch backpack sluice as the original one has started to breakdown after all the use it's had, I think they breakdown from getting cold in icey winter water and then the heat in summer?? Just my assumption but had a good run out of the old one, can't complain,
