This was my first attempt to install PPF. I have to be honest and my first couple of pieces could have gone better. I watched many videos on the process, but actually going it is where you learn. The following pieces went much better. Learning more with each piece. They do say to take your time which is the main secret along with plenty of slip and study each piece to get the lining up correct before you tack it in place. Very impressed with the DIYPPF. Did the bonnet first as this is a nice flat surface. The wings can be a little tricky as you really need to make sure you stretch the PPF around the curves. Take your time and don't rush. Excellent fit. Cut to exact requirements and tucks in nicely at places where possible for an invisible fit. Way cheaper then taking to the professionals. The PPF comes in a large tube holding the film and backing in one piece. You will need a dining room table or clean floor to lay it out on and cut the backing into smaller pieces. Trying to handle it in one piece could result in creases. The film itself feels high quality and the cuts are exact. The film has some stretch, which is needed to apply on difficult curves.
