Initially we were very hesitant about it. We joke that my husband uses a tape measure to get the perfect slice! It was a gift and when we tried it out it actually cut so much better than either of us expected. I like my bread super thin and it works great especially on those big loaves that are too big for a traditional knife! Having the extra blades was a lovely bonus!

The knife arrived broke. Looks like the head of the screw was snapped during production. I thought maybe the screw got loose and fell out but there wasn’t any screw in the package. After a close look, part of the screw was inside the handle. Disappointed because it was a christmas present and didn’t find out it was broke until after giving it away as a gift.

The knife cuts great but hard to saw through bottom crust. Also have to use a different knife to cut loaf or boule in half. Once done I can turn the bread over where center cut is down and much easier. I love that my slices are even now.
