The sandals aesthetically are beautiful. They are not uncomfortable however they are a bit wide on the strap that holds the foot down. The foot bed is soft. I could see where the toll rink can become uncomfortable. If you walked a lot these are not walking sandals for me. These sandals are comfortable going to a restaurant party event etc.
