First good experience using an expandable broadhead, got an opportunity on a dandy NW Arkansas buck. It was a quartering away shot and it cut the opposite leg bone completely in half, it literally fell off after skinning the buck! Keep up the good work

For being 13 and only shooting 53 pounds I’m turning it up to 60 I love beast rod heads cause even low pounded. You can blow right through them even if you hit a limb and you hit the shoulder look at this picture. Look what it can do if this doesn’t tell you to buy a beast I don’t even know what you’re thinking.

Thought this review was for the beast broad heads. But it was for the decapper. But those are both my Indiana and Ohio bucks this year with the titanium 125 grain beast broad heads. Love them. Massive entrance hole, blades tucked in between the ribs and then opened right back up, massive exit hole and that arrow acted like it never went through a deer and kept going. My only complaint is the blades were so sharp I couldn't find my arrow cause it kept flying! It's a good problem to have!

They work perfectly 20 yards the beast arrow and practice point shot the same hole as my regular arrows. I shot a hanging pillow twice with no damage to the blades. Then shot a turkey in the morning with the same head. After 3 shot with my 80 lbs mathews the blades broke but the Ferrell is in perfect condition. These things are unreal. I'll probably never shoot a turkey with anything else now

Pros: flew very accurate. Very sharp. Nice that there is a case and screw driver to tighten blades after practice shots. Cons: 4” blade very big, had to adjust my sight. Would have probably went with 3” knowing this. FYI One of my blades snapped in half on the turkey I shot. Not sure if this is common. Do you have replacement blades?

First test in the field with these broadheads. Shot a quartering away doe, entered through the back of her right side ribs, went all the way up into the left side of her neck almost to the base of her skull due to her head being down I’m guessing. From moment of impact to the time she piled up was 7 seconds. It shredded her lungs. I can see zero visible damage on this head. I’ll hit the edges with a sharpening stone and take this into the field again with confidence.

Took a quartering away hit a little high and back but the deer only went 150 yards. My biggest deer at 177 2/8. I had been after this guy all season, then during a windy morning, I had a strange feeling to look behind me. Sure enough, there he was, 17 yards away. The ground was wet so I never heard him. Drew back, let the arrow fly, heart punch, complete pass through. He ran 59 yards and fell over dead. The broad head is still in perfect condition, not even any edge chatter on the blade. Hands down the best mechanical broad-head on the market!

Entry and exit don’t have big cuts, more like bullet holes but obviously it did its job. I’m thinking maybe because it entered ribs and exited ribs. But it left a good blood trail after about 15 yards into tracking and she didn’t run but maybe 80 yards. Shot placement being better and more meat in front of the blades and i think they’ll do even better.

Opening day in KY around 6:00PM. Slightly quartered away at 25 yards. Massive entry, and crazy hemorrhaging in the chest cavity. The deer ran about 60 yards and pilled up. The arrow hit the opposite shoulder but the broad had stood up very well. Deployed perfectly and only minor chipping after opposite shoulder. Still sharp and planning to put the same one through a doe. Great broad head!

Awesome broadhead, highly recommend to friends and fellow archery hunters. Shot was just inside 30yds and he ran roughly 75yds, even with a higher entrance. Broadhead took a bit of beating from most likely bone and the ground it buried into after the exit. But extremely happy with the broadhead. Also, got to mention the Bowmar grip tape, which came in handy during KY opening weekend with heat indexes over 100. Great work team!

Hit high and back first deer of the season. The beast zipped through buried in the ground by at least a foot. Entry and exit 2”. Even with a marginal shot we still recovered within 100 yards . Blood visible through thick lowcountry swamp . Head was 100% fine tip good blades slightly dull but I did stab repeatedly into the ground marking blood on ends of swamp holes. Hit them with a sharpener and it’s back in action perfectly working.

Another Pike County, IL bruiser has hit the ground. Coming in at 245LBS it typically takes a well placed shot to take down an animal of this size. My shot placement was subpar and actually hit the front leg bone which resulted in shattering the leg and effectively penetrating to the heart. With his front end broke down he only plowed about 50yds before piling up.

Had this buck come in opening day on a trail less than 5 yards from my tree when he presented a shot opportunity. he was 7 yards and quartering away I was 16 ft above him. I shot this 10 point public land buck and made a rough shot that ended up back. Luckily the deer was quartered away and I knicked the liver along with the guts. I gave the deer over 12 hours before going in to pick up on last blood which was 100 yards from the shot. 32 yard shot. put it right in the bouler maker and within 20 yards the buck dropped! 2.3" cut did its job and make a quick and clean kill. this is also a first archery kill for me and i tried a TON of broadheads while practicing and once i tried BEAST i knew they were going to be my go too broadheads.
