I wore the shirt to our Rt66 Fun Run in Kingman, Az. where over 900 car entered. I had so many great comments from people that said yes, I remember those pedals and most of all, the dimmer switch on the floor. Several younger people asked what that button was!! The shirt fit perfect, and the quality was first class.

I bought this a surprise for husband -- his reaction shocked me. From a man who never wears fun t-shirts his kids have given him over the years, his reaction was just great. He held it up, laughed, and said "great, now I have a shirt to wear for the car shows!" The perfect response. So the shirt has a place of honor in his closet for the owner of a 1973 Duster with a Slant 6 and dual carbs.

This was a gift. He liked it a lot but for some reason after pre-washing, it looked shorter in length. Comparing it to the other light blue Gliden 66 shirt, that had also been pre-washed, it was shorter and not as wide. Not sure why the dark flag 66 shirt was shorter but he wore it anyway without tucking it in around the house. I thought it looked too short on but he was willing to keep it. He is 6' and all his other shirts are 2XL.

It really surprises me that a lot of people, especially young people cannot drive a standard transmission. Nice simple tee and meets my era of Route 66. Other than traveling on it several times from California to South Dakota. My Dad loved travel to and from Chicago. I did the whole road on a motorcycle (Harley) in 1977. I shipped my bike to Chicago and rode it back to California. While I can still drive, from my Bucket List! Drive the majority from Missouri to California. Then run the non interstate as much as possible to my home in Seabrook Texas.
