I am a historical fiction reader. So I have enjoyed all of CW Browning’s Shadows of War Series. The intrigue and the constant danger the English spy is exposed to has me reading quickly to see what will happen and hoping she will be safe! I enjoy the pilot’s stories as they are literally fighting for their very lives as they take on the German fighter pilots and bomber pilots. The history of how Europe was taken over by the Germans is so detailed in its explanation! Just can’t say enough about ...

I just loved these books. Incredibly interesting and informative, I knew so little about the German invasion in Norway . Thank you so much for the history notes at the end of the book, shocking to see how unprepared Britain was for conflict, particularly the RAF. My father went from New Zealand to fly bombers and he ended up training the pilots because they lost so many before they even went into conflict. I initially picked up the Exit Series 1-3 EBOOK bundle and was immediately pulled into Viper's world. After finishing the first 3 books my next purchase was the the 4-7 EBOOK bundle so I could finish the series. The story keeps moving at a good pace and you get to know each of the main characters a bit more in depth with each book. As always CW has outdone herself. These stories take me back to times when my uncle spent his war years serving in the RAF. He told stories of the spitfires coming back to base after engaging with German the airforce over the channel. It was amazing that some could even fly. OMG. This author is in a category all of her own. Her depth of research and attention to detail is incomparable, and a bit mind boggling, to be honest. Unlike so many other best-selling authors her books are not formulaic.
