I’ve been using O’Douds Texture Powder for probably 3 years now (this is my third bottle) and I love it. Since it functions as a dry shampoo + styling powder, I usually use it on the days I didn’t wash my hair. It’s great because I love to keep my hair looking matte and it accomplishes that for me. I loved their old glass bottle way more, so I kept it and now dump the powder from the new bottles in there lol.

Texture wise it’s very smooth, creamy and easy to work through hair. Very little hold but remember what it’s for - it is excellent for hair that is dry and very textured or color treated. When applied as a touch up or after styler it adds definition and moisture to my ends. I just don’t work it in near my scalp because I know it would make my scalp greasy - but you have to know your hair well enough to know if this does or doesn’t work for you. Smells excellent.

Lovely soft texture while not being oily - it is more oily than the dry wax though so depending on your hair and the weather that can inform your decision. It was a favorite of mine in the winter to fluff up and get more volume in my wavy hair especially at the roots and combined with some of the texture powder or dry shampoo. The smell is one of my favorite, amazing and subtle lime. If this weighs your hair down try the dry wax

Loose to medium hold depending on how much I use. I can shape/reshape throughout the day and the next day. Photo is next day with no additional product. I can run my fingers through it, but if I don’t evenly distribute it, it can feel like I have a waxy spot (little bit of a learning curve). The jar will last me awhile. It’s my go to product!

I've used bumble and bumble sumotech for years thinking that's as good as it gets, and I just dealt with the greasiness of it if I happen to use too much. Then I tried styling treatment and it doesn't get that way at all. Consistency is great, scent is fine maybe a little weird. If they could make it smell better, grapefruit or eucalyptus or something, I'd give 6 stars.

At first I wasn’t sure about this one; I do have fine curly hair and once I applied on dry hair, my hair turned out very greasy looking. But when applied on wet hair and allowed to air dry it totally solved this problem and gave my hair wonderful texture, separation, and hold. After a few days of not washing it even relaxed into a beautiful looser shape without me having to do anything. Just don’t drop your jar like I did. Now I have to re-order! Hope this becomes an all-year-round product

I really, really love the texture of this pomade and it’s unlike any other pomade I’ve ever come across - it’s fluffy and very creamy, and therefore easy to spread through the hair. It’s just not my favorite scent, and I wish there was a version of this that was a more natural or even low shine that has the same smooth and thickening qualities - but will keep using for special occasions

Not my top candle scent as it’s a bit one dimensional (bergamot and citrus is very present without more complex notes) but if you like bergamot it’s a nice sharp scent that wakes you up. Not overly strong, love that it’s natural and the wax even makes an oil when melted that is quite nice applied to skin (found that part out by accident, not sure it’s recommended!)
