Love the design. When closed it stays flat. It’s stable and i feel confident when driving faster without worrying about spilling or drop my coffee from the holder. Before I bought this I put my coffee on stock cup holder and I always worry about the coffee dropping off to my shifter or to the buttons, that will be a nightmare to clean up. With this new cup holder I can rev my car up even with my morning coffee.

slick addition to the cockpit. convenient, collapsable, stable. Fits every cup I've tried so far. And, is a much better location than sticking the drink in the center console, which can now be used for quick storage for other pocket cargo.

Slick, adjustable and perfect fit for Porsche tumbler and most cans and bottles. IMHO Best cup holder out there. Need if you put Magsafe in the console cupholder. Stock dash cup holder, easy to bump and easy to break, that's why Porsche does NOT warranty it!

I’m really impressed with this cup holder! The unique design makes it stand out, and it fits perfectly on my Cayman 981. The quality feels solid, and it looks like it was made specifically for the car. I’m so happy with it that I’m planning to buy another one for my 991.2 GT3. Highly recommended!

Now in RHD! The Flip is a great design, construction and price point for a Porsche accessory. The team at Project813 were kind enough to develop a RHD model and I’m thrilled to have it in my 992.2 GTS. It’s even been given the seal of approval by my discerning passenger as something that looks stock and doesn’t intrude into their space.

Overall a great design and is pretty solid. My only problem is that it doesn’t really install exactly as intended with my Porsche all weather floor mats. The floor mat wraps higher than the floor of the passenger footwell so I can fit the edge of the floor mat to the bottom of the flip as intended. I had to fold the mat up in front of the foot of the flip. I can only fit it in if I cut the floor mat, which I’m no prepared to do. Takes longer to watch the installation video than the actual install. Works exactly as it does on the website video: one finger operation. Folds up neatly leaving plenty of legroom. No sharp edges to damage tanned thighs with spirited driving. The Factory cup holder is useless with a manual transmission. 813 needs to look at those and find a use for that hole.

Received my updated version. The ring has been changed in size to better fit the weird variation in Porsche mug sizes, and neoprene added to ensure an even better fit for slightly larger ones, and/or if you use a metal bodied container that could rattle.

Let’s be honest. With all the engineering power at Porsche, couldn’t they find a better place for a cup holder than behind the shifter? Replaced it with the cubby and installed this well built piece. Fits great and it is secured. All I needed.

The installation was a breeze. The only issue I have is with the all weather mat as opposed to the carpet mat. It still slides as needed for placement. My Yeti cup fits in the holder but doesn’t slide to the bottom. I may have to invest in a Porsche mug. Great product and very well made!
