These cookie stamps are great. I previously bought ones that were not etched deep enough. These are perfection! I’m still in the practice stage but if you don’t press hard enough, no worries, just re-stamp the same cookie and it’ll come out fine. Use lots of flour on both the stamp and the dough. The bake bake hooray custom stamp was surprisingly easy to use with the recipe that was included with the stamp. And...the recipe cookie was yummy too! So good that I'm giving them out as gifts. I was impressed that the included cookie cutter could be used two ways - either scalloped or straight round edged. Watch the informative video before you start - it gives some great tips. I did make the recipe that came with the cookie and that was excellent, too. I found it very important to refrigerate as instructed the hard way! When I didn’t, the press got stuck, so, refrigerate and keep the press clean for sharp, crisp, beautiful cookies everyone will love. Very impressive!

I initially bought a much cheaper plastic stamp from a different company, but the flour would not coat the stamp so that the dough stuck to the stamp. The wooden cookie stamp worked so much better and the cookies turned out perfectly. It took a couple of tries to perfect the process, but once I did the cookies turned out perfectly. They took a bit of practice (don’t wait until the last minute) but were so rewarding. Keep the dough very cold & don’t worry about using too much flour to keep the press from sticking. I discovered using my rolling pin to press the mold down worked perfectly. They taste great too! One recipe made 18 cookies. Customer service is excellent.
