I’m still in the practice stage but if you don’t press hard enough, no worries, just re-stamp the same cookie and it’ll come out fine. Use lots of flour on both the stamp and the dough. Love this cutter and embosser! After a few trial and errors, the key was to dust the embosser WELL! Get into all the crevices. Then dust the dough and start the embossing! I used my rolling pin to make a good imprint. They baked up perfectly. The best part was painting the design. So satisfying. These darling cookies were very popular with my prayer group!!

I initially bought a much cheaper plastic stamp from a different company, but the flour would not coat the stamp so that the dough stuck to the stamp.
