This is the best dog brush I have ever had the pleasure to use. And I have used a bunch of brushes in the past. We have an American golden retriever with a beautiful gold-red coat. This brush works well on mats in the long hair on his tail, legs and ears. It's great on the rest of him, as well.

Speck does NOT like to be groomed and therefore he has lots of hair to take off. After one week, I can see an amazing difference in his coat. It is shiny and healthy looking. He still dislikes the combing, however, loves his treats afterwards! This will stop the shaving in the spring for the "Summer Cut". He is an English Shepherd and has 3 layers of under growth to shed each year. I hope this helps with never having to shave him again. Thanks!

This is the best de shedding tool that I have ever seen. I have a 95 pound German Shepherd, who sheds a lot, this brush really really works, she looks like she lost 20 pounds after I brushed her! I can’t believe all of the hair that was removed, she was happy the whole time and I could tell that it was a pleasant experience, and she didn’t feel any discomfort while I was brushing her. 100% recommend this to anyone who has a dog with longer hair.
