Wore to a black tie, optional wedding. I wasn’t sure if I should go properly fitted and risk not having space to eat food… but I love food! So I went bigger and it still looked gorgeous and felt comfortable. Received and tried it on a few nights before the event. Whenever I rent from Fitzroy I always try to go for something that has that “wow”- factor. This dress certainly fits the bill. I got so many compliments on it and had the best time! One tip- it is warm- has lots of layers. No need to pack a blazer or sweater, which is helpful because it would be hard to find something worthy to pair it with! If you’re not sure about choosing something bold like this, I say go for it! You won’t regret it!

I absolutely loved this dress! When I saw it on the hanger I didn't think it would work on my curvy body. I was wrong! This dress was the most perfect Fall Wedding dress! Fabric is super luxurious & dress is very comfy. I received so many compliments! I was able to walk & dance no problem at 5'6 + heels, but if you're shorter it might run a bit long. I probably could have sized down to a XS, but they didn't have it in studio, so if you run in between an XS & S, I'd recommend trying XS. Overall experience was awesome! I loved wearing this dress to a black tie charity event. It made me feel like Emily in Paris! I also received lots of compliments on it. The dress is very unique, flattering and comfortable. I did wear my own black slip underneath because the one built-in to the dress rides up. I would recommend this dress and would rent it again!

Holy smokeshow Batman!! I felt like a million bucks in this dress!! It was fitted but still quite comfortable, and I wore it for 7hrs! The front slit does run quite high; you could see my thigh saver shorts when I sat down, but if you are taller than 5’3, that might not be an issue! I also wore some boob inserts to fill out the cups, but would have been just fine without them as well. 10/10, 100% recommend.

I LOVE this dress... I wish I got a better picture, but it's so beautiful and whimsical and very flattering. The one issue is that it's definitely meant for someone taller than me (5'4") because the 'adjustable straps' were too long on their shortest setting. Honestly, someone would have to be like, 4 feet of torso to fit the longest setting. Anyway, I did some strategic pinning and it worked perfectly!

I had a fantastic rental experience at Fitzroy! The staff were incredibly helpful during my dress selection process, making the shipment rental process a breeze. Now, onto the dress – I can't say enough! The fit and style were perfect, and I absolutely adored the slit detail. Im tall and at 6'2", the dress was full length on me, so I'd suggest a higher heel if you’re shorter. I'll certainly be returning to Fitzroy for future rentals!

This dress was a dream. It was a lot lighter than I expected. The experience was delightful ( this dress cannot be shipped because of the size, but Uber parcel was almost the same cost ) Don’t hesitate to rent this gown. I can’t wait to rent another dress for my next event. With such a digital world with photos etc (as much as we tell ourselves we will) we do not often wear “moment” pieces more then a few times - if ever again! This is a sustainable solution to high fashion.

The dress is so lightweight and comfortable. I wore this dress in July for a wedding and it was ok in the extreme heat. One thing to note is that if you want to lift your arms up above your shoulders it’s not really possible. But I loved the dress. I felt beautiful in it.

Absolutely loved this dress. It was very flattering. But there are two things you should know 1) it's very long! I am 5 10 and wore 2.5 inch heels and it was perfect. 2) the chest area is very open. I have small breast and whenever I would sit the front area would kinda open. I would recommend using double sided tape.
