I loved the dress and the overall look! I recommend sizing down as it was a bit on the bigger side. I’m usually between a size 2 and a 4, I rented the size 2 and it was a bit large. I highly recommend renting from Fitzroy!

Beautiful dress!! Was pretty comfortable and was exactly what I was hoping for. Only thing I would say is the shoulders don’t have a lot of stretch to them - so maybe not the best for someone with wide/broad shoulders.

Dress ran true to measurements, I wore the 16 and have a 44" bust, 35" waist, 41" hips. It was perfect for the chateau "black tie optional" wedding I was attending that started at 2pm and went until 2am. I loved how flowy the skirts were! I wore it with a small heel and a simple pony tail. It was very comfortable and breezy for the summer.

I had a great experience renting my dress at Fitzroy. The new space is beautiful a girl dream for all different types of dresses, sizes and colours. The sales associates are friendly and welcoming. Very helpful and let you know if anyone else is wearing the same dress at your event. I loved that detail! I did find a small hole on the side and they insisted to fix it but I had no time to get there and make it for my event. Overall great service and good rates to rent. Thank you!

My entire Fitzroy experience was excellent. The outfit came early - giving me ample time to try it on and make sure my undergarments and accessories all worked (for me it was best with a backless strapless bra). I’m 5’4” and the size 4 fit near perfectly (1/4-1/2” shorter in the leg length would have been ideal, but perfect otherwise). I felt fabulous and would highly recommend both the outfit and Fitzroy! This dress was stunning! I felt beautiful and elegant and got many compliments. I wasn’t able to wear a bra with it but needed some support to get the girls to stay in place and some boob tape did the trick. The shoulder straps were slightly long for my body, in future I would use some double sided body tape to keep them in place. This was my first rental experience and I will most definitely be back!

You have a customer for life! Beyond the cost effectiveness I had the best experience. As a busty gal it’s so hard to find dresses, and yet I came to the Fitzroy and had no issue, the dress fit like a glove. Beyond this the service was PHENOMENAL! I got stranded in Calgary due to flight issues and reached out and customer service was so kind, quick and accommodating, it was such a relief to not have to stress. 10/10 experience and so happy I got to live out my princess dream!

Renting from Fitzroy for my brother’s formal wedding was the best decision. This dress is so flattering and comfortable. It also has pockets!! I’m 5’8 and it hit above my ankle. I paired the dress with sparkly black heels, a black clutch, and wore gold jewelry to accent the dress’s pattern. I had the dress shipped to me in advance. It was packaged perfectly to put in my carryon and included a return mailer & shipping label which I used post event. I would definately rent from Fitzroy again.

The Dusk is a stunning dress! It has a gorgeous cut with lovely figure-flattering drape. Sized up one size and it fit perfectly. It's definitely on the long side - even at 5'10", I had a short train. It was a perfect gown for a formal wedding.

The experience at The Fitzroy was amazing. I had a virtual consultation and had my heart set on this dress. I received so many compliments, it’s elegant and modern and with high heels it hit right at the ground (Im 5'5") I ordered a size 2 which fit snug, but not too tight. I will definitely be ordering from The Fitzroy again!

Another hit from Fitzroy! This is my third time renting a dress and each time it’s been incredible! Things to love about this dress: you don’t need a bra, it has pockets, it is deceptively comfortable, you will get compliments all night, you will feel like a princess! As always, the staff at Fitzroy were very helpful and pick up and drop off were super simple. I will be back maybe even to rent this dress again because it was such a hit!

Another Fitzroy dress I did NOT try on in person, and another HOME RUN by Fitzroy and their team. This dress was an absolute smash hit at a recent wedding I attended. Keep in mind, this dress is very structured and has very little stretch. Regardless, that did not stop me from dancing all night long in it. I am normally an XS/S and I rented a small. It fit true to size. This dress is the definition of art meets fashion.

I wore this to the Canadian Law Awards. I follwed MET Gala rule breaking protocol and took a sneaky selfie in the bathroom but even in that back drop you can see how amazing this dress is. I got compliments at the event, on the train, walking downtown - everyone from strangers to colleagues said it was a super eye catching, fun dress. It’s also fairly comfortable for such a structured dress. The skirt felt super regal and amazing.

This dress was VERY comfortable and stretchy - I had to size down from a large to a medium, but it was still roomy enough that I could've gone down to a small. I stuck with a medium because I'm larger in the bottom half. I got so many compliments after wearing the dress to my bridal shower this past weekend, especially with the low back. I wish I had another occasion to wear the dress to, it's that good.

Loved this dress and got so many compliments on it. It was gorgeous on (the craftsmanship!) and the corset made it really easy to adjust to my exact body size so it was a snug fit. I wore it all night and, though tight, it was also decently comfortable (as corseted dresses go). Would definitely rent it again!

Rented this dress for a photoshoot! I felt so fun and cute in it. It is a mini dress, so keep that in mind if you are wearing it out for a party; if you bend over your bits and bobs will definitely be on display haha. I saw the dress online initially, saved it to my Wishlist, then showed it to a staff member at the Fitzroy and they brought it out for me to try on. Within 1 second of arriving at the event someone asked me to twirl in the dress! It’s stunning and sooo flattering. Loved the adjustable straps. It’s extremely heavy but did breathe more than expected. Fits true to size if not a bit smaller. I usually wear a size 6 on top / 34D and medium was perfect! Would definitely recommend if you love a twirly dress :)
