The best boots to wear in these wintry conditions . Whereas hiking boots te d to slip on some surfaces , the grip on these is excellent even on snow and ice . They are warm and comfortable . I had to wait to post my review as I was waiting for my nephew to deliver them, i live in New Zealand and he lives in England. The Wellington’s replaced my old faithfuls which were 30 years old and which I brought with me when emigrating. We bought these small Dunlop wellies to restore our Paddington bear which had been knitted by my husband’s grandma for our son when he was little (nearly 30 years ago!). Paddington had been left in our attic and was all dusty and in a sorry state. Due to the fur style lining it's a tight fit and this means that wearing two pairs of socks or thick alpaca socks will not be possible. Perhaps a half size bigger is a consideration for wearing in really cold weather to allow for thick socks. Also the left and right heel lining has not been cut and stitched exactly the same and actually felt quite different when being worn. Perhaps this is down to the machinist having an off day. I have over the years purchased just 4 pairs of this type of boot....

Arrived super fast. Brilliant boot and value for money. I ordered the Dunlop soles too and super comfy.
Perfect for dog walks and not a heavy boot. I've had them in water and mud ankle deep and they keep my socks dry.
I've tried expensive muck boots for £100+ and they crack and leak after months.
Dunlop is my new best brand now as it's value for money and a very good quality product.

The soles are robust and inspite of mud have not slipped.

I’ve been wearing the old thermo boots for decades and was hesitant to try these. I wear these in very muddy conditions and the grip is good but not as good as the old type, however, these new ones are much easier to wear in the mud because of the sneaker fit and they feel much more like a normal boot. Much better insole too. If only Dunlop made waders with these boots attached.

Easily the most comfortable wellies I have had. The ‘sneaker’ fit makes them feel more like trainers. Have worn them on long distance walks with no issues. Easy to get off and on. Sole is very grippy which helps tackle muddy banks with confidence. Quality is very good, should last a while but will say my next wellies whenever those are needed will be these.

I have very narrow feet, so still a bit roomy for me but length-wise ture-to-size. Even with that slight heel lift it doesn't rub, no blisters and comfortable to do an hour's dog walk in muddy terrain. No lead-legs thanks to Purofort magic and sneaker contruction, must have worked on developping it for years! My friend's got the same without steel toe cap and it suits him like a glove, no double socks malarkey, no lifting at all and same praise of comfort. Will never go back to any other brand!

I had size 12 Dunlop/Dickies landmaster wellies for the last 13 years they've been fantastic for deerstalking in rough forestry and open hill. These wellington boots seem to be doing a great job so far.. That have kept my feet dry even in torrential downpours, the safety toecap is a great feature and they are lightweight. I bought the Dunlop insoles which were recommended by the company .

They come up a size smaller than usual (or did for me) so I would recommend ordering the size up or multiple sizes.

Worn these boots for many years. They last ages and keep my feet warm in the most freezing muddy conditions. Grip in the mud is the best of any boot I’ve tried, way better than the newer field pro thermo boot. Only criticism is they are too short and narrow in the leg in the bigger sizes; us guys in size 13 wellies aren’t Kate Moss, three inches taller and wider would be perfect.

After 5 years in my Non safety Aciforts I can honestly say they are the best wellies I have owned , as an Angling fanatic these are worn at least once a week , sometimes 4 days at a time and have walked hundreds maybe thousands of miles over all terrain , sadly they have met barbed wire from time to time but quick dab of repair glue and they are back fighting fit !
Cannot recommend these more , never let me down but now soles are through !! Thank you Dunlop , my replacements are in post !!
