Used to re-joint a large existing patio including side of garage - see photograph. The hardest part of the job was removing the old sand and dirt that had accumulated in the joints. The slabs have irregular gaps. Unsurprisingly it was easy to fill wide gaps but more work was needed to fill narrow gaps. The instructions suggest brushing in the product. The levelling compound was great. I have done a little resurfacing in the garden. For one go I mixed half a bag, then the another half to avoid the loss because the quick bonding time. I advise to do the same if You have a smaller job. The delivery was pretty quick. This is a great product. I have just completed a home project levelling out all my ground floor which was upto 50mm difference in some parts. I removed the old flooring and marked out the floor with screws taking my level from the highest point. I then mixed a floor screed and filled the deepest areas until they were 2 - 4mm below the desired hight. Then I mixed a bag at a time of floor leveling and filled areas deeper than 6mm. I've used every brand of grit out there. Blue grit is way to thick and gloopy and the grit doesn't spread evenly leaving some areas over gritted and other hardly any grit at all plus its very messy falling off the brush all the time. Was recommended this by our installer, says he has installed this in the last 2 years for his customers and never had anyone coming back to him or complaining that it was not good. This is a really good resin compound for grouting your paving slabs. My grey Indian sandstone slabs look brilliant with this grouting.
