I have had one for some time and was buying another as a gift. Unfortunately the company I chose was not the best, the product pictures on the website differ from what the delivered item is which is disappointing. Delivery was slow and I had to chase the company I would not use them again.

Even knowing that decaf beans can look darker than they are, this is a dark-roasted coffee. I couldn't smell anything other than 'roast' opening the bag or smelling the brew. Grinding much coarser than usual and with a lower brew temperature gave me an acceptably non-harsh coffee, with lots of smooth body, but with no sweetness, no acidity, and none of the cupping notes.

It is a bit strong for us however, we buy it and blend it with one of their strength 3 coffees. This makes, for us, a new coffee with the smoothness of the 3 and the bite of the 5.
