I wear an ankle med kit. I Picked up the SOF tourniquet because it folds flatter than the CAT. In doing some initial training on the new tourniquet, I also like the clasp that the CAT doesn't have. This means that I have more options in the application as I don't need to get the extremity into the air to slide the loop around.

The Blue Alpha tourniquet holder is SOLID and adaptable. Fits nicely on my Blue Alpha belt and holds my TQ really well. Coworkers immediately noticed how low profile it was and how tightly it holds the TQ. I'm already thinking about buying another for my pack.

My 1st Vanquest pouch, as well as order from SkinnyMedic, and it made me like it enough to get the little brother version as a BooBoo kit. Best IFAK for the price and all around sweet. My only complaint would be it doesn't come with MOLLE Sticks or Velcro on the back but that's a Vanquest issue not SkinnyMedic's I pulled the trigger on it and I carry it daily, what you do with said info is on you and yours.

I’m not a medical professional, just first responder trained (though the courses I’ve taken have been curiously + woefully light on covering the gunshot wound response). Pretty much decided it’d be prudent to be prepared for a shooting, and skinny medics pack was one of the most well rounded kits I found. The only complaint i have is that there isn’t a pack of non-vented chest seals. I’m sure there’s a practical reason to prefer two vented seals over one of each. I didn’t let it affect my review...

This is a good size for an IFAK. I use mine for a range kit. I wanted something that could hold the essential stuff as well as a CPR mask, which I prefer over a simple face shield because it can be used with an NPA. It suits my needs very well.

I watch Skinny Medic on YouTube. I am a disabled veteran and have many different medical supplies at home. Instead of things being spread all over the place.
