After leaving the indoor range the difference is noticeable. Being able to clearly hear a conversation without “lip reading” while in the range is a plus. I also ride a motorcycle and steady engine noise seems improved. The Bluetooth is a plus.

When i used these the first time they didn't seem to work very well. I changed to the larger buds and the difference was might and day. I followed the instructions on a video about them and these are now my favorite set of ear protectors for shooting as well as hunting.

Shooting outdoors on a hot day gets a little sweaty and uncomfortable with over the head ear protection, so I switched to the Sig earbuds and no more issues. Keep them on low though as they are extremely good at picking up voices while deadening the gun shots.

Because the TRACKR Blu uses sound compression instead of turning off the mic you can still hear everything around you at their normal volumes. I am a contractor and work with load cool tools. These head headphones reduce some of the noise while while allowing me to hear people around me. Unlike ear pods they don’t fall out and leave you searching for them on a job site. The wires can get snagged in thick brush and my cats really like chewing on the wires! I just finished a comprehensive 2 day pistol training course. We were shooting in an indoor pistol range and the sound quality, battery life, and noise reduction were awesome. I love that it has different noise cancellation levels. This way I can use them at work (I work in a very noisy environment) or at the shooting range. This is great also because, unlike even the Razor electronic muffs, they do not get in the way of proper weapon manipulation.

I have used multiple types of in ear hearing protection and these top them all. The ability to hold a conversation while rounds are going off around you is awesome. My past protection would cut out when rounds go off, causing conversation to be choppy. The sound quality with music is mediocre, but these aren’t designed for that and it is acceptable. I would highly recommend these to anyone wanting in ear protection.

I love how low profile they get when using them. I mainly used them for yard work and I can barely hear the mower but can hear the music clearly. The sound quality isn’t the best but it’s good. They work for hunting applications. They are comfortable, effective, reduce the noise and cut out the damaging higher sound range. I really like the light feel of the buds as opposed to heavy ear muffs. The fact that these allow me to hear someone yell “Cease fire!!” While protecting my hearing from gunfire is also very important. Another plus is that I can use my phone with it.

I have the GS Extreme 2.0 because they are connected from one to the other by a cable that sits behind your neck. Individual ear buds just don’t fit tight enough in my ears and I’d hate to loose one.
