I use my GS Extreme when shooting trap and skeet. The hearing enhancement is a huge benefit when it is my turn to referee. I can clearly hear the calls and monitor what is going on around the field. This is a major help to ensure safety and fairness on the shooting grounds. When a shot is fired the automatic sound dampening protects my hearing as well. In the field while hunting my GS Extreme helps me hear those subtle sounds of game while protecting me from the sound of my shots.

The GS Extreme 2.0 is one of the best purchases I have made in ear protection. The pairing ability, the sound enhancing, and the noise reduction are top notch. Great when shooting pistol and they don't get in the way when shooting rifle. I have purchased several for myself and family, as well as several of my shooting buddies purchasing their own after seeing and trying my pair.

A particular advantage is that - even though they work well with an iPhone for calls, music, etc. - they do not require an iPhone connection for the ear protection circuitry to work while shooting. So, I work at a target range, and I loved the Axil Xcor for the shotgun side. Worked exactly as described. No problem here, reduced the harmful noise to a safe level. Only issue I had was on the rifle/pistol side of the range. With 60+ firearms lanes operating at once, the overall noise seemed to overwhelm the earpieces and still had to wear earmuffs to bring the sound to an acceptable level. “Love to hear from you” I loved this. I have searched for the earbuds with excellent quality sound and stereo sound, with the benefit of still hearing ambient sound. I really appreciate the way they cut out the high decibels so perfectly. And when the ANC is turned off they act like really good quality ear plugs. I have seen them in photos and video, no one at the range had a pair. It seemed too good to be true that a protective device could be so small and light. Wearing regular muffs was uncomfortable if not downright painful after a couple hours. My new Axil Extreme is light, comfortable and let's me hear the world around me while being protected. All this and I can take calls with them too. Love it !

Comfortable fit, terrific folding design. Pass-through audio is a great solution to having to remove your hearing protection so you can hear what is going on around you or to talk others in your group. These are a good value. Though they are compact, they do occasionally rub against the stock when shooting a rifle. Has me starting to look at in-ear options.

Great for competition shooting or a range day where i was still able to hear my friends and the RO's, as well as listen to some music. The only caveat is they will not block sound as well as earmuffs will (not by much though), so be aware if shooting inside. Overall a great pair of earphones that I highly recommend for yourself or as a gift.

As a pistol and carbine instructor in the nuclear security industry, I spend a lot of time on the range. These ear defenders are amazing! I used to get headaches from wearing traditional hearing protection. These are so comforrable to wear and they work great. No more headaches. Great product! People should know that if you purchase this to be shipped to Canada that the fees to clear customs are in the $60 CDN range. My extra taxes and fees were $80 CDN. FEDEX ground is not the way to ship to Canada. FEDEX air would be better from what FEDEX told me...buyer beware!

Works great. I really like the fit, the cups fit over my ears very well, comfortable. I like the volume control of ambient enhancement and the ability to turn it all the way down. which is good while on my tractor. The separate volume control for the speakers is good but I don't think it is loud enough. I have it rolled to max and music or phone calls can be hard to hear. I don't have decreased hearing. All in all, a good product. Oh, also, I like that they are water resistant.

They work as advertised. I duck hunt and bought a pair for me and my son. When calling ducks you have to also be able to hear how loud you are calling. Sometimes calling to loud can be a deal breaker. Also, there is the guns. These plugs dampen just enough to protect your ears, but also allow you to manage your calling as well as hear your buddy's in the blind. Great product and would definitely recommend

So far so good - as a waterfowl guide I am exposed to alot of gun fire - over the last 30 years of wearing regular plugs to custom molded 1200$ ear protection I will say Axil is the best sound quality and most comfortable I have experienced- I am able to hear , communicate and am able to wear them all day if necessary- have had them for 2 months now - quite a few rain and snow storms I have recommended them to clients and family

Wish there was a trade in or repair option. Love the fit and function of the 1.0.version unfortunately they failed. Battery life depleted in less than an hour and the on/off switch became very sloppy. Bought the 2.0 version during the sale to replace the originals. Hope to see better results!

The Xcor preforms as described. The sound quality is better than others (as expensive as $1400 that I have) that I have tried. It would be great if they were able to be put into a molded earpiece.
