strips wire easily. I use the pliers to twist sold wire to prep for wire nuts - easier to handle than a linesman's pliers.

This is a great set for working on bikes: the sizes cover almost everything you might do, all of the hexes have a bit holding function. And with everything Wera, the quality is fantastic. The torque wrench comes with a calibration certificate, the finish and build of all parts is top-shelf. The biggest omission though (and the reason for a four star review) is that the torque wrench does not offer bi-directional torquing -- something that comes up often when working on bikes, such as with pedals...

It's not quite as ergonomic to use as some of my other drivers, it also doesn't feel quite as sturdy, but if I'm going up on a roof to work on a unit I know if I grab this guy I'll have the correct bit without carrying up a bunch of different bit sets.

Overall, I really like it. Grips well, smooth ratcheting, bit storage, etc. However, and this isn't the worst thing in the world, there is a lot of slop/play in the ratcheting as well in the shaft wobbling very slightly. Again, I'm generally happy with it, but if those things bother you, be aware of them.

I have been carrying this model for a couple years now and it is just too handy for my HVACR job. I also have given several away and everyone raves about it. The only negative is when the pocket clip breaks off or the bits get lost. They are not all that easy to find parts, so I buy more drivers.

Fit in all the screws I’ve used them in has been sublime, flawless though the wrenches are a little too short. I don’t know that there are any longer options that still include the t-8 which I need so… Steel seems quite tough and the precision with which they’re made makes me quite happy.

The larger bits I’m using more than I expected. They are made better than any bits I’ve ever owned. I bought the whole kit for the micro driver and I’m a little disappointed. It flexes a lot under regular use, the swivel top does not turn very freely and the shaft is slightly bent. On the positive side the magnet is quite strong and that does make a lovely difference.
