I love this mat, we ordered it internationally, it arrived promptly it is so soft all the family want to be at floor level with the baby while she plays, its beautiful so it looks more like a living room carpet than a playmat and its easy to keep clean. it does everything I could ask!

Really lovely carpet, it’s like walking on a cloud. Baby loves it too. Did follow the advice to steam iron upon arrival and it got super smooth (it was crinkly due to how it’s packaged). Thank you, Tatami Kids, we’ll be back!

I was a little skeptical about quality when I saw other companies were selling a similar rug, but at a much dearer price. I was blown away! The quality is 10/10! It’s so soft and cozy to sit/lay on. We all love the tatami so much. An 8 month old, 2 year old, mom and dad. We all gather on our tatami, lie down, play. We can fall and we won't hurt ourselves. It is one of the best investments we have ever made for our kids!

Our mat arrived in quite a small parcel. Amazing how it’s possible to fold & compress it. It took approx. 3 days after laying out on the floor that all lines and creases disappeared. The ideal mat! The entire family enjoys it! This mat has been a part of my son's turning, crawling, and now walking from the age of three months! Additionally, he takes his naps on it rather than in a cot. When family members come to visit, they frequently inquire about this tatami mat. I tell them it's a play mat, but they think it's a carpet. No complaints, and we want to purchase another!

Absolutely love this mat. It is so soft and comfortable for adults to sit on but we bought it for my son as he is learning to crawl and stand and I wanted to be able to relax knowing if he fell he would still be OK. Just be aware that it takes close to 4 weeks for shipping to Australia.

We were positively surprised how comfortable this Tatami/playground carpet is. Our girl loves to play on it - we have wood parquet where she had same dramas hitting the head. But on the carpet, she rolls round and round. Hence it was a good idea to get the thicker one. Also in regard of (vacuum-) cleaning is a no-brainer. So far we can say that the Tatami Kid mat was a meaningful purchase and are happy with product and service.

This is now officially the best spot to sit in the house. I do everything on this mat. This room sort of felt like a space you just passed through before, now you are drawn immediately to the ground haha. Only took a day to flatten out without an iron, looks great, super comfy.

Absolutely love this mat!!!!! Honestly, I cant imagine a better mat for my babies room! She was so excited when we put it down in her room :) The mat is very comfortable to walk on and the edges sit tight to the ground, ie not a tripping hazard. It is veey comfortable on my babies knees as she is a crawler right now. We can also lay on it and read books comfortably. It took about a week for the mat to lay flat with no creases. I will be ordering more for other rooms in my house.

This is our second mat. Love them! They are comfortable and soft. They also clean up well. We both them so our children (preschooler and baby) could play more comfortably on the floor. We also made us be on the floor with them more appealing. Definitely recommend the thicker mat.

The carpet is fantastic. We have been using it for over 10 months and it is still like new. No sagging of the internal sponge and no loss of color. The child can play with it in complete safety and on several occasions has prevented him from getting hurt. We clean it regularly with the vacuum cleaner. I really recommend it to everyone. One of the most useful purchases since our son was born.
