We bought 2 mats, one for the kids play area & one for the lounge. We love them both. They are easy to vacuum & do not slip around on our timber floor. There is NO curling of the edges or corners, so they are NOT trip hazards. I enjoy taking off my shoes & feeling the soft spongy feeling underfoot. Absolutely happy with our mat. Fold creases are mostly gone after 2days. Kids and husband love laying on it watching TV which means less fighting over the couches. I bought the 2x3m designer mat and the big pillow for our lounge area - we've had a second hand mellow mat there for years and though it was still soft-ish, once we received this mat it made a WORLD of difference! SO soft and squishy, we all sit on the floor when we watch TV now, the 6 year old gets out all her energy throwing herself on the big pillow, and my 4 month old is loving tummy time and learning to roll on the mat. Couldn't be happier!

Love the pattern design, I wouldn't say it was a grey design it is more of a light greenish colour which was a bit disappointing as I wanted the grey as per described on the website. I would love to see the mellow mat company make a mellow mat in a larger size like a 3mtr x 3mtr so I could make it fit to the edge of my lounge on both sides , but still this one allows people to walk around it with shoes on which is a bonus I guess. The grips under the mat don't quite grip the tiles that well so...

I seen heaps of posts and reviews about the mellow mat, and with my first baby starting to get around we had to get one for ourself! We ordered the 2x3 mat & it fits our space so perfectly, so soft to walk on, perfect for her learning to crawl, roll over and play on. We get so many compliments as well. I ordered the dark grey mat, and somehow received the dark blue by accident, but other than that it’s such a great product! I have told multiple friends of mine with expecting little ones!!

Was recommended to me and have not be disappointed. I thought the reference to tatami was a stretch but quickly realised that there is a resemblance to real tatami but even softer. I would reference a kotatsu base blanket on tatami as something similar. Very comfortable.

Great experience and can definitely recommend this rug. Super soft and luxurious feel. Ordering and delivery was super quick. Arrived in such a lightweight box I was very dubious but it puffs out so quickly and within 24 hours the fold lines had vanished and this was without ironing it! Would purchase again
