LoL, this is the ultimate mess around, find out device. My oldest two daughters were taking 30+ min showers, as a family we're averaging 6,500gal a month now (still too early to see a new avg). My daughter turns on the shower and then sits on the toilet and just leaves the water running. Sometimes she'll get up and walk out of the bathroom and go to sleep and still leaves the shower running. Honestly, I struggled a bit with the settings at first. Now that I have the hang of it, it’s a breeze. But my kids have had a learning curve because they went from outrageous 30 minute showers down to 15. Know it’s easy to use, I can adjust the timer as needed, and it takes the yelling out of our mornings (mostly).

Instructions are not great but still easy to install. Tried for months to set limits and timers for my teenagers with no success. Best thing to get my teenagers out of the shower in 8 minutes so that everyone has a hot shower.

Works really well! It was difficult to set up because the button wasn’t paired to the valve assembly, but once I got instructions to pair them it worked as expected. Got my son to stop taking 60 minute showers!

I was so glad to see this and bought it quickly to combat long teenager showers in my household. I know it is a great idea because my teenager already hates it ;-) Great build quality, very easy to install and setup. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it could really use some form of small digital readout to show the settings instead of relying on the light flashes. Looking forward to lower water and gas bills.

I love the idea - I bought it because both my teenagers were having a hard time following a clock and I was tired at yelling at them to get out of the shower after 30 minutes. I programmed the timer for 15 minutes, thinking I would decrease the time 1 minute at a time as they adjusted - but I did find out that my 16yo was using the tub to heat the water (which is not monitored by the shower wizard) - so now I have cut the time down to 12minutes. I love it the actual person who made it contacted me when I had a question. I did finally get it set to the 15 minutes but it was a struggle the directions are difficult to try to understand it. But I finally did get it I would like to set the time frame from one shower to the next less but I'm afraid to mess up that actual time that I finally got it set to but yeah we'll see how it works as time goes on but yeah definitely more affordable than another one I saw
