BIG improvement over the factory installed locks. Looks great and easier to open, shut and lock now. When I first tried to close the hatch, the locks were very tight. I discovered that you just need to make small adjustments to the upper nut to lengthen the shaft to the desired result. I did that, and now it is smooth as silk.

Not sure what all from this set I will end up using, but it certainly saved me time and energy from having to assemble it myself. Based on my experience with fixed location houses, the fuses will eventually come in handy.

Waiting 6 months for delivery of a BaseCamp20x can be long and tedious. So what do you do? Read Facebook Group pages and pour over checklists and websites for 'must have' items! This "Maintenance Essentials Kit" appears well recommended on a lot of those checklists, so I ordered it, got it, read the manual, and dreaming about spring!

Bought the original zip dee chairs on eBay many years ago, then we bought an airstream. Now, we matched the chairs with the awning by getting replacement Sunbrella. We also found a yard of the same regimental stripe to redo the Add-a-lounge to match the chairs. Great to have brand new Sunbrella to sit on since the old fabric was grossing us out!

I gently rubbed olive oil over the board before using it. It brightened the colors while protecting it from liquids. I plan to do it again when the wood appears to dry up. I don’t think regular wood oil should be used since the board might be in contact with food. The board fits perfectly over the sink while leaving enough space to use the water faucet. The design allows both functions and it is quite practical. It discreetly adds to the decor and I love it.

The airstream door key blank I ordered arrived in just 3 days. It is a very robust key with a heavy plastic coating just like the original. A local locksmith had no trouble grinding the teeth and it works perfectly.

Great outfit for Airstream owners, new and experienced. Solid reasonable advice - with the same solid and reasonable products behind them. I totally dislike "email eblasts" overall (and send them to my junk email folder) but Airstream Life is the exception. Always look forward to them. Keep up the good work.

We ordered 4 of the E50 fire extinguishers. We have one in our Ram truck, one by the door of our Airstream and two in the bedroom of our Airstream one on each side of the bed. We like the compact size as well as the ability of the fire extinguishers. The fact they require zero maintenance and are always ready helped us decide to purchase the E50’s.

These tire monitors are the best. I have four on my Airstream wheels and one on my spare tire. If you have an issue with your tires, you will need to use your spare with enough pressure or you can destroy your spare tire.

Lesson learned the hard way. We experienced our first flat tire on our Airstream trailer. Fortunately, we were safely tuck in at our campsite when we noticed one of tires was going flat. We knew that our trailer was not equipped with a jack, but we have one in our TV. First discovery the jack was not ideal but would work. I have had safety concerns about towing with the propane on, but was conflicted because I wanted the refrigerator to stay cold! Problem solved with the GasStop Safety Shut-off. Purchased this a few weeks ago and installed it shortly after. The material is substantial and it it should be very durable. Installation was relatively easy requiring a drill and a pop rivet tool. It took roughly 30 minutes to install. I purchased the 15’ length and it is just right for my 27’ Globetrotter. I would recommend it. No more baking in the sun!

The wooden mat is very nice and fits perfectly. My wife really like it and that is very important. Just remember it will raise you about 2" so remember that for headroom. I'm 6'1" and the shower is tight for me. One other suggestion. Rinse it well before putting it in you AS. The stain come off for awhile. Doesn't damage the shower, it does rinse out but I feel it would be better to rinse the mat first.
