Yes, it was nice to be sending rounds down range with this fine rifle. Sighted rifle in at 100yds. I had no problem attaching this mount to the rifle. It took me a total of 25 minutes to remove required parts and attaching mount. I highly recommend this mount for any of my fellow K98-Mauser owners.

Bought the bad ace mount for my k31 and turning it into my go to deer rifle, was super easy to install and not permanent so if I want to put rifle back to factory just drive pin out and put irons back on. Shot the rifle about 20 times and seems to be holding zero. Would definitely recommend if your wanting to put a scope on your k31 and not permanently bubba it. Awesome product guys God bless you.

In my experience in threading this, I found that I had to go one size larger (M12 x 1.75)than the size given (M10 x 1.5)in order to be able to get it started (a little to small for the bolt handle). After that, it took just fine, got it threaded. Then put it together, perfect fit!

Fantastic attachment. Easy to put together and mount. The only thing I would recommend would be to make that base plate a bit shorter. It long enough to block the feed of the stripper clips. Either than that I have no complaints. Thank you for a wonderful product

I installed the BadAce MN 91/30 hex receiver mount on my Finn M91/30. Installation is fast and simple. I have BadAce mounts on Swedish Mausers and the attachment method is identical. This mount only works with the M91/30 rear sight base. It does not fit the earlier Konovalov sight base on the original M91 and Finnish MN's before the M39; for that you need a different BadAce mount. This is a totally awesome scope mount. I used bushnell rings for a little more clearance in the front. I also used a deltac handle kit (12.bucks) and had the front part of the handle micro welded (30 bucks) the bolt handle clears with no issues or problems. I did not have to do any grinding or material removal. Great product for old Mauser rifles when you do not want to solve the problems with bolt clearance on scope, safety interference with scope eye relief with variable magnification. Works on 8mm, 7mm, 6.5x55 Swede when shooting distance is not excessive. These old guns are not longer range. Used your products for years. Recent used the longer Picatinny rail mount and very pleased with the solutions you offer. Thanks Hank

As I grow older it has become very difficult for me to shot my Mauser rifles with iron sights. I decided to scope my Yugoslavia M48 with a 4X long eye relief scope so I purchased the BadAce scope mount. After removing the old rear sight the Barack went on easily and tightened up so that after 500 rounds of 8MM it is still holding. I take shooting the Yugoslavia fun again. I loved it so much I have put one on my K98, Turkish Mauser and my 30/06 Colombian Mauser.

I bought this mount to replace the scout mount I had purchased previously. The rifle shot this group with that mount and an ancient Tasco pistol scope. The new mount is installed, mounting a Vortex Viper PST scope. Easy to install. I haven't fired it yet, but if it works as well as rhe one in my My 39 Finn, I will be very pleased.

I was so pleased to see you offered a non-invasive way to mount a red dot to my classic Russian SKS. I especially like the taper lock arrangement between the angle adjustment & lockdown screws, as this gives a very stable three point contact for the mount. Works like a champ! Thanks

Wanted to change my "Kimber of America" sporterized Swedish Mauser to a scout configuration. All iron sights had been removed by Kimber but I was able to find an original rear sight base that fit the barrel. Bad Ace Tactical knows exactly what they are doing when it comes to scope mounts. This one for my M39 is no exception! It's an extremely solid mount and does no permanent modification to the rifle. After mounting the scope and zeroing it at 50 yards, I was able to push the ol' girl out to 300 yards and shoot a 2 inch grouping no problem! Would absolutely recommend this scope mount! It blows all other mounts out of the water. Gives original Mosin scopes/mounts a run for their money.

Fit, finish and machining quality of the item are outstanding. Installation was fairly simple and did not damage the firearm in any way. I placed a piece of electrical tape underneath the rail where it contacts the front of the receiver to prevent any potential wear if there is any movement between the rail and the receiver resulting from recoil. The rail works fine, holds the scope properly. Note, the rifle has to be loaded by magazine as the stripper clips can not be applied with the scope in place, not a big issue, just a change. Good rail!

Following Items were installed on my German K98K : Burris Veracity 2-10x42mm, 30mm tube. Vortec low height 0.90 Pro rings. Tourbon Brown leather cheek piece, (for elevation). I have no idea if all the 8mm WWII Mausers are this accurate but, shot after shot at 100 yards were all in the bullseye. Your scope bases really are something and have to be stable. The rail fit perfectly on my 1909 Argentine Mauser. Once I removed the factory rear site, the new part fit perfectly. This system allows the mounting of modern optics without drilling into the rifle. Great product and would highly recommend.

This is the mount that you want for your k98 Mauser. I tried another inexpensive one: don't bother. This one sits perfectly in the rear sight cradle. It took minutes to install. Unlike others,there are no other screws to adjust or to come loose. I mounted a Scout Scope on it and it was delivering great groupings by the third shot. It came really fast too so these guys get an A+.
