So I decided to do a winter camp trip. I knew my camp stoves wouldnt work due to the cold Temps and such so with a little research I bought this last minute along with extra fuel packs. Well, this is now my favorite little stove for small cooking. Next to the camp fire, it was the only thing I used to cook on for 3 days.. At 20 to 30 degree temps. Definetly worth it!

I am an avid hiker, backpacker, mountaineer. There is nothing like having a nice warm cup of coffee on top of a chilled mountain top. This stove is so light I forget it's in my pack. The fuel tabs last long enough to boil a cup of water which is really nice for a Thai dish I make for my trips. Love it and totally would recommend it to anyone who likes to keep things simple.

This is a must-have in your get home bag or bug out bag. It folds closed into a compact space and the fuel tablets are light and deliver plenty of heat. I have several of these that I use on hiking treks and in case of emergencies. If you're going to boil water to rehydrate a freeze-dried meal, be sure to have extra fuel tablets.

This was a perfect little backpacking stove. The tablets worked way better than I expected as well. It had a full boil going within a few minutes. Highly recommend.

Does the job well. 1 tab boiled 500ml or 2 cups in 7 minutes and kept on going for a total of 12 minutes. I used a large GSI Outdoors mug on the stove. While there were no mishap it was a little precarious and care must be taken but it did fit. I used a silicone drink cover to act as a lid and preserve heat. There was room to throw 3/4 cup instant refried beans (look in the bean section at S&F), 1/2 cup Instant Rice, 1 Tb taco seasoning and simmer 60 seconds, then plate over a handful of Fritos....

This stove is great. This was the only stove I brought with me on a 4 day camping trip and I have to say, I was impressed. My goal this time was to travel light, but still have all of the essentials. I cut the tablets in half to increase the number of times I can use them and decrease the size of the flame. I had one of these last year for hiking and got a new one this year (it got wet in storage and rusted up). I love this little stove. It is easy to break out when you are stopping on the side of the trail for a quick lunch, fits inside my cooking pot for easy storage, the fuel cubes are simple and easy to use and cook everything up nicely. I have tried othet stoves and will continue to stick with this little guy until I can't anymore!

For those who know! This is the ultimate in emergency/ solo camping stoves! Hands down the best stove on the market today!! Versatile,strong, light, everything you want for either camping or a bug out bag. I use a tin foil pan as a windscreen, folds down really small and adds little weight, not to mention being really compact! I bought 4 of these!!! Love it!
