The cork backing adds 1/4”. There is an opening on the back for hanging if you choose. Seems very sturdy for use as a trivet or decoration. I am very satisfied with this purchase! I’m not sure where I first tried this patch, but it worked so well I came back to buy some more. I am highly skeptical of unproven treatments, but open to trying just about anything. I didn’t think it would work for my low back pain, but amazingly, it works! Highly recommend this drug free option. I like it so much I keep a stash in my travel bag at all times.
