I purchased SPE Motorsport Hot Side Intercooler pipe and installed it on a 2019 F-350 4-door SWR LWB. This pipe has a 3” diameter aluminum pipe that is larger than stock OEM pipe. Awesome cold side pipe! Had a pipe from another company and it was far less superior than this SPE Cold Pipe. Install was fairly easy although couldn’t find a video on this actual pipe installation on the link from SPE. Definitely want to install the throttle body bolts before connecting the Aluminum connector then insert the fully assembled pipe into place carefully aligning the TB gasket to the intake and starting the screws. High quality products! Worth the money in my opinion! The external catch can is great, on my 2015 F350 I mounted it using the bolt that secures the parking brake cable guide to the body mount bracket. Mounting it as I did moves it further back the frame, has just enough clearance that the cable doesn’t touch it and moves it up a little for more protection from road debris. Let's start with the positives, The mounts are of very high quality, an upgrade in every way to your truck. Lifting the truck and installing the new mounts is easy with a floor jack and bottle jack. Installation was straight forward. Fitment is perfect. Noticed no change in oil pressure from the factory setup to this one (i feared maybe seeing a drop in pressure since the return is so much bigger than the factory one). We’ll see later on in this oil change how the oil sample analysis compares to a stock filter. Lets start this review with the disclaimer that I an NOT a mechanic, diesel or any other kind. I love this company! SPE Motorsport designed an awesome product here. No more ccv gas smell or exhaust fumes coming into the cab. I installed the SPE Motorsport ccv rerouted with internal catch can and added the external catch can to complete the modification. Nothing better than quality parts made in USA and SPE does it right. I needed to change the CCV filter on my 2017 F450 so I ordered the SPE CCV recirculating kit. Received the parts in a few days installation was very easy the hardest part was getting the stock CCV box out. So far I haven’t seen any oil dripping from the upper oil pan so hopefully that problem is solved.
