So far my dog is happy to go down, going up we are working on. I really want this to work as I am finding her to heavy to lift. We are both getting older, and want to avoid injury. Morgan loves the ramp. It was easy to train him to use it. I wish the wood portion was a different color or we had the option to order a darker color. Overall, good, sturdy, useful product. I would highly recommend. Shipping was fast.

Took my dog awhile to use it. Right now he only uses it to carry his bones up since it typically would take him a couple tries to get in the couch. I think it’s a great product and will just take some getting use to!

As advertised. I'm disappointed the ramp doesn't have a handle. It could also use an extension - at 36", at maximum height, it doesn't reach the surface of a bed with full boxspring and it's quite steep in that position. In terms of quality, it is constructed out of unfinished pine and not overly sturdy - it will surely not support the weight of an adult human (or a St. Bernard). It takes up space, so being able to use it a stepstool or a place to sit and tie your shoes would add some value and...

So far so good, we are still training our Bella to not jump off the bed. Most of the time she goes down the ramp but she still jumps off once in awhile. I would recommend this product as it definitely helps keep her from always jumping, she is really good about going up

My doxie is now 7 years old, so she is a little slow at learning new things. But she is learning to use the ramp. I made her one for the bed, and so she is used to a ramp, plus I have one out front for my rolling walker. The only problem is that sometimes she wants to go half way down and then jump off the ramp, rather than go all the way down. If there was someway to put side rails on it, it would be more useful for some.

Purchased 2 ramps for my mini 3 yr. old long-hair doxies. They may actually be considered tweenies as they are 12 and 14 lbs, respectively. One took to the ramp immediately. But his brother who has a shorter body and is a bit over-weight and not as agile, needs a bit of persistent coaxing and physical assistance. My Mini Schnauzer just turned 11 yrs old on May 5th. It has taken some coaxing, bribing with treats to get him to go up the ramp....but he will go up, but wont go down, LoL. Its still work in Progress & will take some time...but Im just proud that Brock has tried using this ramp....Hopefully in time, he'll be going up & down the ramp all by himself like a champ!! Absolutely LOVE this ramp. My dog always jumps off my bed and with her being a dachshund I'm worried about her back to go so I bought this in hopes to prevent that. It was super easy to teach her how to use it and the rigged carpet makes it easy for her to go up and down. I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 just because I wish the ramp could go just a little bit higher.

Our dachshund ruptured a disc in November, so we got this ramp for him to get on/off his favorite chair. He's more inclined to walk down it than up, so I put a treat at the top of the ramp and he readily runs up to get it.

I bought the ramp for my 15 year old dachshund. One I set her on it, she climbs up to the bed, but she hasn't learned to initiate the climb. The unit is well designed and built, but it needs to have additional cutouts to allow lower height. I have a flat "trunk" at the bottom of the bed where I rest the ramp. But, there is no suitable notch. I may have to gat aa screw as I don't have woodworking equipment to custom fit. A series of notches along the frame is needed.
